A nice bar with character located in the heart of Nicosia. A nice selection of Belgian beers and some others. Great food, with large portions that make even the largest person feel full (especially their burger - the Belly Buster!). Also the music is excellent - mainly focusing on Blues/Blues Rock.
Great place for a drink. Nice variety of beers. Good interior and ambience.

in my opinion it is the most cozy bar of the town. big variety of beers however for a really selective beer lover it would be just another cool pub and nothing really special (limited menu for a pro!). the prices are a bit high .. the food is really good. proper glasses and qualified stuff(the ones on the bar). cool and cozy place to have your beers and the decoration is amazing
One of the best bars in Nicosia. Set in an old mansion and not very obvious from the outside. All wood panelled with great traditional deco. Selection is mostly beglium and never changes so can get a bit boring. Thgey do have Vedett Blonde and White on tap though. Definitely not the cheapest place to drink in Nicosia.
I was thoroughly impressed with the way they have decorated the place. Service at the bar is alright, but so far Iíve been unimpressed by the servers... it may have been an isolated incident, but my experience with waiting for a table outdoors and being acknowledged when I have an order left much room for improvement. I would still go back and just opt for sitting at the bar.
One of my favourite places in town. Amazing atmosphere and great decoration. Decent selection on belgian and german beers (nothing special though), but it is not a cheap place. Great food.
If you have the money to spend, then it could be your own spot to chill out.
Great place, truly beautiful. Would be a cool place to drink even if the beer list wasnít good. But it is good, as long as you can afford it. Food is outrageously priced, didnít eat here but the most attractive part of the place is the restaurant. Would be equally at home in New York or anywhere else, is a genuine urban bar/restaurant. Note: The Trappists are in poor shape so save your money--itís a Cyprus thing, I think, maybe not stored well during transport :(

Old town Nicosia isnít a very touristy place as Cyprus goes, itís a good place to see Cypriots on the town. Platoís is in a big house with nice tile floors and lots of wood. The beer selection is solid, although some are a bit old. Free popcorn! Love that. The menu looked pricey and the beer wasnít cheap either. Good Belgian list in particular. Nice vibe - the only serious beer bar in Cyprus and it was really nice to see all the local ordering up Belgians in the proper glassware. OH - nothing to do with Platoís but around the corner thereís an African store that carries Nigerian FES. There arenít many good stouts on Cyprus so I recommend taking advantage of that resource. OH YEAH - it opens at 8pm so no point in getting there early.
