Large, open space. Three beer flights offered but you don’t get a choice as to what they contain (and it is not marked on the menu, just generics like ’local’ or ’Belgian’; quick service; some of the bottled beers on the menu are not in stock; unless you are looking for a quick meal I would rather go to El Segundo Brewery across the street

Across the street from El Segundo Brewing. I parked in the parking lot down the street on the corner of Main & El Segudno, seemed like it was plentiful. Rock and roll themed (shocker). Lots of memorabilia and such all over the place, some rock music playing as well. Open air set up. Bar and patio seating available. The beer list is pretty good, actually. Some local stuff from El Segundo and Smog City on tap. A lot of So Cal stuff as well as a few standard imports. And unlike the one in Torrance/Redondo, the service was actually good.

Visited here for dinner while on vacation in early August ’13. Last night in town and staying near the airport - this was one of the few options. Was a little hesitant when I saw it was co-owned by Gene Simmons - was pleasantly surprised. Fun outdoor place with plenty of TVs showing vintage rock videos and current sporting events. Lots of rock and roll memorabilia around and I swore I saw Nikki Sixx come out of the bathroom. Solid menu full of typical brewpub grub - I had pizza, son had a huge burger. Tap list was pretty solid - stocked with several regionals I had not seen yet until there (Smog City, El Segundo) and other California favorites (Lost Abbey, Stone, Alesmith). The beers were a bit pricey - $8 or $9 per pint. Good place to go if stuck out near the airport.

Visited on RBSG-eve with Chinoskillzian, vsxsv, and CitizenMeow.

I didnt know what to expect given that this is partially owned by Gene Simmons of KISS but upon entering I was pleasantly surprised by the beer list. They have a ton of taps and bottles. Nothing crazy rare or whatever but plenty of good beer. The food was actually pretty good too. I think my favorite part of this place was the over the top decor with the rock memorabilia on the walls, the giant TV screen showing old concert footage, and the torches. If it wasn’t so far from where I live I’d gladly go here more often.

Awesome bier garden rock theme going on here. Very spacious and large bar seating. The beer wenches aren’t bad on the eyes and really knew the beer. They seem to have special events frequently and I was able to get a flight of Hangar 24 beers. I had a German style pretzel with spicy mustard and beer cheese, it was to die for. The only downside is the prices, but it is LA.

Good taps with a nice diversity. Food was good (pulled pork sandwich) and not too expensive. The whole decor was a bit of a cliché but it worked, and a consequence of that was of course good music!

Place is an outdoor beer garden with a rock and roll theme in downtown El Segundo. Seating is either at large picnic tables, long thin bar tables, or the bar itself. The place has a nice community feel to it. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Tap selection is good and they do have a lot of special events. I have been once for a night featuring Ballast Point beers. Every worker I have come into contact with at this place is friendly, and seems happy to be there. The waitress I had was knowledgeable about beer. The food I had was okay, but they did have an awesome German Struesel dessert they get fresh each day from a bakery in El Segundo. They also have a lot of special events which they advertise for on their website. Update 11/27/11- When I first rated this place they did not have an up to date tap list. After looking at their website today, I noticed an up to date list. Good job Rock and Brews at making your great place even better. I will be in soon.
