This place is even harder to find than the photo suggests. It's almost like the place is trying to hide--maybe they do cash only for a reason, ha. Anyway, the cash only is an issue give their prices. So many beers I'd like to try here but not many worth it. Only left with three. Had a couple of pints at the bar too, which has an all star lineup of drafts. Service is friendly. Worth a visit just to see, as a kind of museum. They sell really old cans of Coors banquet and stuff for hundreds of dollars.

I followed google map instructions to get to this place, and at first thought there was either an error or the place had shut down. That was until I saw a table out front with some beer cartons and bottles. There are no windows in front and no signage, but despite the unappealing entry, I opened the door and went in. What a contrast. There were wall to wall beers on shelves and coolers and a nice little bar with a number of inviting taps on offer. It was a bit like a speakeasy, but cozy inside. If I were to rate this a beer museum and tap room I would give it five stars. However, as a bottle shop I would not give it more than two. Despite the vast selection, many bottles appeared to be pretty old. That may be okay with Belgian beers, but one of the beers I bought there gushed all over the kitchen, with full 2/3 of the $28 bottle wasted, which turned out not to matter because the beer was skunked and undrinkable. I would never buy a beer here without a date on the bottle. This is the first place I ever saw a North Korean beer, which sadly was not for sale.

Visited with shrubber85. Funky, eclectic little place, multiple rooms, like a labyrinth. Exceptional collection of international beers. Lots of regional too, as well as some cellared stuff. I found an Idaho beer here that has long been out of production back home. Kind of dark, but that adds to the mystery. way too much to absord at all once. Also be aware that they are cash only.

Visited here on a visit to Louisville to do a barrel pick with Maker’s Mark. They don’t get much stranger than this. Maybe Kulminator in Antwerp is the only stranger venue. Bar in a residential neighbourhood, has a kind of shop front but then stretches all the way back through the shop with row upon row of fridges selling hundreds of beers, quite a lot of which are ancient. Obscure British cans of old no longer existent lagers like Skol or more interestingly old bottles of Gales Prize Old Ale. And the tap list is pretty outstanding. Zombie Dust, Chimay Blue, Fantome, Etc. Quirky, charming place well worth a visit. Interestingly when I visited there had been some big game on and some frat boy types were in there completely shitfaced, out of their depth drinking 750s of St Bernardus Abt 12. I have no idea why the barman didn’t kick them out as they were spoiling the vibe. I left when they started vomitting

Stopped in for some dinner and beers - liked the tap list and the epic number of bottles. Bartender was really cool, low key causal, semi run down place. Good beer stop. Found some lagers in the coolers way over ripe. So if you are buying bottles I’d be sure to check dates and buy styles that do ok on shelves for a while. Bottles were really pricey draft beer prices fine food cheap.

Absolutely a one of a kind place. It's an old house with a long addition that has some unicorn beers on tap and in many fridges. Not a pretty place, just tons of great beer. Sergio has been there both times I went, beers are served on the honor system, you tell him what you had & he comes up with a price. If you go to Louisville and don't go here you're missing out.

Quite the hole in the wall and unique. Great tap list. Cheap food. Excellent bottle selection. But bottle pricing is insane - easily double what it should be. I’d go for the taps and just oogle the bottles.
