Touristic pub close to the old town of the part. Was our first stop in Bratislava as we wanted to try some local dishes. Nice ambiance on the first floor of an old building, wooden interieur. Beer selection is very limited, one house beer form Klastorny pivovar and soem beers from Heineken Slovakia. Food was great and a nice introduction into the local food scene.

Everytime I am in Bratislava the Slovak Pub is usually a good spot to have either lunch or dinner. If I go there its for the food. The beer list is limited and not interesting at all. But as I said, its about the food here. Everytime I have been here, the place was busy, but its also very big, so I never had any problems finding a space. Recommended for eating.
Not a place to go look for special beers. Their beer selection is fair to Slovak standards. The reason why I go there on every visit to BA town is the bryndzove halusky, one of the typical dishes from Slovakia. The bryndza (sheep cheese) comes from their own organic farm. I’ve never been disappointed eating something at 1. Slovak Pub. With a ’dobre pifko’ ("good beer" - a student beer) it all goes down smootly and I’m ready to start a night in Partyslava.
