66 51 taps bartenders are friendly and know their beer. Nice to see a pub with full liquor and food. Place definately needs a facelift but it’s been around for 20 years under 3 owners. Steelers sports bar. Bathrooms are a negative. People at the bar are friendly and nice. A very local Carrollwood bar. |
44 Dingy and dirty hole in the wall. Good number of taps but a good number of them are BMC fare. The service was crappy and the men’s room was disgusting. Not impressed and not going back. |
64 Stopped by here after dinner at the Melting Pot two doors over. This place is definitely set up for the sports enthusiast with T.V.s on every space available. They advertise 50 taps. Service was prompt and kept tabs on me. Most of the taps were filled with macros or easily obtainable micros. Worth the stop if your in the area, but not a place I would go out of the way to try. |
80 A lot of taps, don’t know when this page was set up but I think they are closer to 50 lines. Recently put on a lot distributed by Pepin so Blue Points all over the place but the owner and the manager do a good job of rotating through beers. The food is decent enough and they have dart boards and pool tables, fair warning this is a Steelers bar so if the Steelers are playing a game you are watching it here or drinking somewhere else. |
34 Not good. Stopped by to watch half a playoffs game, but we probably stayed for only a quarter. Cigar City on tap, which is cool, but they were presented next to all your usual macros... sac-re-lig! The actual barstand is decorated with beer labels. Nice. Dirty bathrooms. Overall: I don’t think I could have gotten myself to enjoy a meal there. They need to work on this establishment. Return: No. #042 on 05022010, DG. |
44 needs to be redone but has a great selection but just feels dirty like a redneck bar but they keep good beer on tap |
34 This place is disgusting and needs a huge facelift. Everytime I visit Tanks I feel like I need a bath when I leave.....rip this place down and build a new one. Dive bars are cool but this place is grrrroooos! |
42 The service sucks ass here. It could be a good place if they knew how to take care of their customers. Selection of beer is pretty good...beyond that? Nothing to get excited about. |
70 Hidden in the back of a strip mall. Not much for decor; it’s a dark, sports bar type of place. But the wall of taps on the back wall tell me all I need to know. Great selection of draft beers! Food is tasty and comes in ginormous portions. Worth the stop in the Tampa area for sure. |
56 odd mix of sports bar and beer garden. it looks like your typical neighborhood dive that folks come to watch a game and have some nachos, but at some point hired a beer nerd to run the bar. so its kinda run down and slapdash, but with a better and more quality beer selection that most dive bars. i still dont understand the "arabian nights" looking private room in the one corner. or all the blacklight. oh well. service is adequate, which is fine. beers are a nice cross selection with some eyebrow-raising surprises. i had the Bernardus 8 and 12, as well another i cant quite remember. beers tasted clean with no skunk lines. food is good as well, and prices were about what i expected. |
