Tony’s Darts Away

Thank god for TDA. Thius is where I learned about beer and I still go at least 3 times a week because I work at Disney just down the road. My ATF

Fun place, nice beer selection if u like ipa, I like ipa so I enjoyed here quite bit. All Cali beers.

(Visited 07/2015): Tony’s Darts Away is located in downtown Burbank on West Magnolia between Reese and Orchard. Street parking is available in the surrounding area.

There is a small patio in front. Inside opens to a dimly lit space with the bar running along the right side with chair-style barstools, and table seating along the left. A duct runs along the length of the ceiling adorned with brewery stickers. Behind the bar the tap handles are visible, and there are a couple TVs too. A sign hangs over the bar pointing people not sitting there where to order.

As for the beers, there are around 40 taps with many CA breweries represented such as Lengthwise, Tap It, Cismontane, Enegrin and Kinetic. They also had a house beer (Darts Away IPA) from Golden Road. Flights are available.

Service on a weekday afternoon was fine. We were seated on the patio so ordering was done at the bar. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable on my trips up there.

Food at Tony’s is vegetarian, and our lunches and dessert were enjoyable.

Overall this is a hip and divey-in-a-good way spot that I would definitely visit again.

Quite far from Burbank Downtown but worth the trek. Deservedly busy with locals. Good choice of beers, almost all styles, all in good nick. Food choice a bit limited for us carnivores.

Awesome spot. Great beer, lots of games on the shelves, cool spot.

Situé à Burbank en périphérie de L.A, le Tony’s Darts Away est le prince de la scène brassicole SoCal. On peut y gouter les offrandes de brasseries comme Alesmith, Green Flash, Alpine et Lost Abbey tout en côtoyant Gloden Road, Highland Park, Noble et Tahoe Mountain entre autre. Ce qui donne sa signature particulière par contre, c’est sa collection de jeux de société et son programme de Saucisses Signature. Donc, détruisez votre ennemi à Risk pendant que vous batissez votre saucisse idéale...et ce avec un amoncellement de pintes fraiches. Pas si mal.

Cool dive-bar on the bar side. A bit more hipster in the table area. All service is get your ass up to the bar and order from the bartender. Quit being so goddamn lazy. Flights of 4 beers for $10 (price increases by a $1 for each beer not typically served in a pint). Real pints. Expensive, but not as bad some of the other places in the LA area. Nice tap list featuring only CA beers. Did not try the food but it smelled pretty good!

Neighborhood-style bar with a good selection. Lots of locals. About 1/3 IPAs, 2/3 everything else. The IPAs were mostly standard fare from large craft brewers: Bear Republic, Firestone, etc. Few surprises or rarities. Bartenders know there stuff, are helpful with both knowledge and sample pours. Comfortable place to sit and talk. Quiet crowd. Nice spot.
