Room for improvement on the service front. I was in there the other day and overheard a customer say to the owner (Curt/Kurt) "at least you will answer the phone, right?" He responded yes. I called the very next day, during open hours, no answer, left a message and still waiting for a call back. Lame! I also wish that the store would use social media more effectively. They will tweet out when they get some stuff. They will let people know when stuff is gone - sometimes. Consistency, especially when new stuff comes in would be great! Now for the good stuff... I shop for quality beer mainly in Lansing and Grand Rapids. Grand Rapids may have more beer stores and seem to get more of the good stuff... but I have never seen better prices than those at Vine and Brew - this mostly makes putting up with the inconsistent alerts and sketchy service worthwhile. Either way, cheers to them for bringing good beer to the Lansing area!

One of the only good beer spots in town. Pretty solid selection, but not without its faults. Service is hit or miss in my experience, but my biggest problem is how often they have severely out of date beer on the shelves. More than once I’ve gotten home and locked myself for not realizing the drink by date was 6 months ago. They do often get some rare brews but you have to be extremely lucky to ever get some as it’s first come first served (supposedly).

Great selection of beer, possibly an even better selection of wine. I was previously slightly off-put by the service, but I’ve recently found it to be exceptional. My favorite place to go for beer.

Very comfortable and roomy shop. I think this new shop is starting off right with selections from all of the major Michigan brewers plus a nice assortment of others. They don’t have all of their space filled . . . maybe they will add more later??? They offer beer tasting: 3 North Peak beers on the day I visited. Prices were very fair. No premium for buying a single: this encouraged me to build my own six-pack of beers not available at my regular store on the other side of town. They are also a little cheaper than my regular store, too. I definitely will stop in when I am in the area.

Great new shop in the area. Excellent prices and a really nice selection . Top notch service and very knowledgeable of the beer and wine they sell. Upscale atmosphere with a small selection of mostly local foods.
