Historical pub with good beers

Nice place. The music and the crowd don’t help my concentration on beer. I think is obvious that beer is not the only focus in this pub. lots of choice for food but high prices. Not tried. Staff doesn’t seem to know much about beer, anyway I had no occasion to talk to the pub owner. The beer selection is surely not as high as claimed nor as good as expected. Almost nothing from US. No trappist. No De Molen, Mikkeller, Nogne, BrewDog, Struise at all. I expected much more from the best (claimed) pub in Milan

Nice place and probably the first pub in Milan, long time ago it was the pub with the widest choice. Also now the selection is very good, the food is sufficien but expensive

Nuova gestione . circa 200 birre in bottiglia e 6 alla spina però tutte industriali sta cercando di migliorare la qualità delle birre, locale carino il padrone molto simpatico

Very good bottle selection. They have also commercial beers on tap. Probably the oldest pub in milan. Improved a lot in the last period (took over to a new property).

Pretty decent selection of bottled beers, taps are nothing special. Food and bottles are both pretty expensive.

On the banks of Naviglio Grande, this old pub has brand new wood furniture, creating a bit fake ambiance. Lot of expensive plain food. Only macros on tap, served chilled, overcarbonated and with clear signs of lack of taps’ cleanliness. Some regular Belgian beers, little American and few others for too high prices, even for Milan.They claim they have 600. At best 100, actually.

I used to go there since the early 90’s, they always claimed to have more beers than they actually have ;-)
But in the end you will always find something new.

The best that I’ve never found. Situated in the Naviglio’s zone, in an historical neighbourhood of Milan, this premises offers a great choice of amount and quality of the beers. Many products from Belgium, but also much from Germany, Italy and others notes beers coming from America. Not much large one, the premises is essential finished and pleasant way. Much wood and beautiful images on the walls. Competent and kind staff. Broad chosen of beers on-tap.
