Interior is open, yet cozy; there is plenty of seating. Knowledgeable servers will help you select a beer you are likely to enjoy. Food is tasty and satisfying - try a flat bread pizza. Whether you live in the area, or are just passing through, this place deserves a visit.

When I first visited the WOB in Arlington shortly after it opened, I was rather underwhelmed. They had quite a few taps, but they were filled with beers that you could get at any grocery store in the area with a couple of exceptions. At that time I was just happy to have a local place that served some beers on tap. This place has come a LONG way since then. Their bottle selection is second to none in Arlington and their tap selection has gotten to the point that unless you want to head out to the downtown areas of Dallas or Fort Worth...this is the place to be. From the latest local offerings to solid stalwarts like Sculpin, Union Jack, G’knight, Old Rasputin, Abt 12, etc. they have a very solid tap selection. The food is good as well and they normally have some special events/tappings going on. The staff is friendly, but it would do some of them good to learn more about the beer they’re serving.

The service has been terrible. I meet two buddies who had already ordered from the waitress. The waitress came to the table twice while I sat there. Not once did she acknowledge me. I finally placed my order with the bartender. Even after two more people joined the group, the waitress never spoke a word to anyone but the first two guys. And they are the ugliest of the group.

This was my first visit to a WOB. I’ve been reading about them for some time...so when I had a chance to visit one on my recent Texas beer & business trip...I didn’t want to miss the opportunity. I’m guessing this has been repeated over numerous WOB location reviews...but yes...this is a bit of quantity over quality feeling...although in all fairness...and as the bartender explained to me...WOB focuses more on a large variety of bottle beer rather than draft beer (the opposite of the Yard House chain). As a result...there is a better chance that quality will remain at least moderately high vs a chain location with a huge tap count. The food is good although fairly typical chain bar food (try their homemade OMG chips and the grilled cheese). The WOB chain is a nice addition to the beer scene in a TGIF kind of way. You’ll love it when local one off craft beer locations are unavailable...but this is not a destination place in spite of the large number of beers (try other better chains for that like Yard House, Flying Saucer, & Taco Mac).

Did a "West Side" of the Metroplex tour over the weekend - and the WOB finished 3rd behind Gingerman FW and Flying Saucer FW. The primary reason was "quantity" over "quality" of taps. Lots of Guinness, Boddingtons, Harpoon, etc. A grand total of two taps from Deep Ellum, Peticolas, and Lakewood. So I figured I might find a bottle "amongst the 500" that I wanted. Nope. While the others had Southern Star Pro Am, not here. Didn’t see any Ballast Point Sculpin either. Again lots of quantity. Quality? OK, but nothing spectacular. Hear these guys will be opening off Greenville Avenue soon. I wish them luck - but the beer bars are WAAAY better here than in South Arlington. Might want to be a little more creative in your tap selections. Service was pretty good btw. And while they do not serve food, they were very quick to offer menus from other restaurants in their strip mall that would deliver directly to you. So I raised their overall rating for the fact that I had a lot of food choices.

what an awesome addition to South Arlington! loads of fantastic brews on tap and then loads more in the bottle that you can purchase from their racks! only drawback is that you cannot purchase bottles and leave the premises (most WOB locations allow you to do this). nonetheless you can belly up to the bar, pick a cozy sitting booth or table, or head out onto the patio to enjoy some fantastic beverages. and feel free to order in some food and dine while you drink. great staff & management! don’t miss out on their special brewery nights!!
