In here some time in 2014 and it was by far my favorite brewery in Atlanta that I visited. But I didn’t take detailed notes. Second time, in the door around 6PM in mid August on a Thursday. Cool old building turned into a brewery. The bar is in the basement or cellar area and all of the old stone is really nice. More than a dozen of their own beers on, and only one overlap from years ago.
Flight options exist but are limited to one default flight, and then everything else is available at a 6/8 ounce pour, or full sized. Means a lot of liquid to work through but the beer quality here is generally really good.

With a grand looking reception room hall facing the road if you walked here like me it would be very easy to do what I did and almost walk in on the event taking place inside. The actual pub is underneath with an entrance at is side further around the back, and as you have to pass it if you are parking here, you’ll certainly see it. Inside it’s a atmospheric low ceiling affair with several rooms all made open plan. The rectangular bar occupies one corner with stool seats all around it. Food is better eaten on the more suitable tables in other areas. They had a number of their own brews on during my visit, with flights available on a taster tray. You’ll have to do several of these though if you want to get through them all.

Visited in February 2017. I have to first say that building is very beautiful from inside and outside. Beers were little bit of dissapointing. They had own cask available and gentle local jazz band was playing. Totally overrated place IMO.

Went here for some food and more beer after visiting SweetWater for moe. and a beer tasting. The place is in the basement of an old building and has a nice charm to it. Rather low ceilings with exposed wood and brick all over the place. It does get a little loud but nothing to terrible. The food here was pretty freaking amazing. I sat at the bar so didn’t get the full list only the bar menu. I still got the app, main course and desert and was thoroughly impressed with the quality and test of the food. As for the beer the selection is a little limited but the two I had were good, especially the Jemmy Dean Breakfast Stout. Might have 20+ beers like some places but certainly a good well rounded list with seasonal and limited releases as well.

Thier own beer is fairly good. Food is good, but over priced. Staff is great. Now, if you like biurbon/rye, holy shit. Great selection. I rated this based on beer though. It would have been much better with better prices and a better guest tap offering, but I would definely come back. Side note- bartender was great. Made a number of good suggestions for doing a tour about town

Great food, venue and staff. Ticked all the boxes, infinitely better that Atlanta’s central options. Get out here and enjoy the session musicians who are entertaining without stopping the conversation. Under makes visiting these outlying venues a doddle.

Very cool brewpub, and some surprisingly good beer. Enjoyed this place a lot more than nearby Porter Bar. Old school decor, with a cool colonial building. This place specializes in cocktails as well, so between that and craft beer expect hipsters. Selection is very good here, with lots of drafts and casks to choose from. Flight is limited to the four or five beers they choose, but half pints are cheap and available. They pour samples as well. Cool ambiance and good service.

Visited this brewpub on 26.4.2016. When I came to Atlanta the last time, around 5 years ago, there was only Sweet Water brewing, now you find several promissing beer places in the city. The Wrecking Brewpub is located in an old villa with a nice patio outside and a strong English ’Victorian’ Pub atmosphere inside. The brewery is just next door, operating on two floors and is equipped with a long bar next to the fermentation tanks. Seems the ground floor can be booked for events. The beers were delicious, had a Kölsch, a tart ale and an IPA. In total they had 12 beers on tap all brewed on the premisses. In addition they have a nice Scotch selection. Burger and fries were also quite good. The service was outstanding, very friendly and knowledgable about her beers. A really good brewpub!

My Cheers. I have been there probably 200 times, and it keeps getting better. A local magazine ranked it the #1 bar in the city and cannot disagree. The space is wonderful, the food amazing, Beers in all styles (although not at once LOL) including a wood aged beer every Wednesday and a cask every Friday. If you are lucky enough to come on the 5th of the month, the Mexican Siberius RIS is OMG great. So fortunate to have this right down the street.
