74 Visited once, latish lunch time Saturday April 30, 2016. Food truck outside that was nice, but took some times since it was rather popular. ID checked for all that entry the brewery, make sure to bring it. Free tours that was nice. Decent beers. A rather steep walk from downtown. Some parking available. Seems very popular, line to get in after a while. Fairly big area for seating, but still crowded this day. Likely I’d go back if in the area, but would like to get there fairly early to get a place to sit down. Free sample of a beer when enterin, also a few free beer samples during the tour. Free Wifi available with password. |
68 One of the Philly classics, right down by the riverfront. Fairly big and roomy, but they close at 7pm, so get their early. Six mainstays a few rotating taps. Decent selection of pub grub as well. |
82 Sweet warehouse spot on the Delaware River. Food trucks on the weekends. If you are looking to do a tour get there early! Pool table and shuffle board inside an open hipster atmosphere. Not much table space and limited bar space. When it is busy (weekends), it can be hard to get a beer. Tons of shirts and retail items on the wall available for purchase. |
76 Decent place. Ample parking in lot next door. Food truck outside, though did not partake. Cheap flights divided into three types/styles/series. A bit loud and can use more table space, but well done overall. |
74 The tasting room is where to come to drink Yards in situ. It’s a large airy space with a u-shaped bar surrounded by shelves of merchandise. The brewery can be seen through the large glass windows and where you can spot the brewers scurrying around. About a dozen beers available on my visit. Flights of 4 can be purchased and the bar staff are happy to mix them up between core and seasonal brews. Overall, pretty good vibes. |
78 Really open and loud (warehouse setup) which fosters a social/communal atmosphere. Beers are good...lots of options...tasty one offs. Super friendly service. |
100 My dream place. Good beer, good service, good music! But too far from home... |
78 Very pleasant brewery to check out and definitely worth the visit if in Philly. They have a ton of stuff on tap usually, and when I was there they even did bottle pours of their grand cru available in sample flights. They seem to always have a section of go-to beers and supplement this with a bevy of specialty or seasonal brews. A lady at the front was handing out samples to people coming in from a bottle pour. Some of the beers are quite good, though they range greatly in quality. Staff was friendly. |
76 Pretty awesome brewery, tons of taps, wide variety of beers, flights were cheap, food truck outside, overall solid brewery. |
70 Went and visited back in February. Really cool looking place. Lots of merchandise and artwork hanging on the walls. Warehouse-looking, though kind of funky and hip. Decent amount of drafts, including a couple of brewery exclusives. There were a few bartenders, but they all seemed very friendly and helpful. The wall of tshirts behind the register near the bar was really a wonder too. |
