I did not realize that this place was affiliated with a brewery until I arrived. Definitely a sports bar feel to it. Lots of guest taps as well. I tried a couple of Oliver beers; the old ale was solid, but the NE IPA was kind of dismal.

A nice pub style restaurant. Good choice of appetizers as well as entrees. Tried a few things over a few visits and was not disappointed. Wait staff was very nice, attentive, and made good suggestions. A good selection of beers on tap, specials, cocktails, and bottles. Some were a bit pricey, but there were many reasonable options.

Modern sports bar. 34 taps, 7 Olivers and 3 casks. 58 bottles plus 3 gluten-free and 7 cider and meads. A varied selection. The food was good. The service was great.

Modern "cool" place with lots of taps, always several good choices. Several of the menu items are very good. Can get crowded in the evenings and parking becomes a problem; the trick is to go there for lunch.

Stopped in for dinner on my way through the Baltimore-DC corridor. Large place, large bar, tons of tables, big patio, strip mall parking. Lots of beers on tap, interesting enough list, with about half devoted to Olivers. Food was decent pub food. Sort of a middle of the road experience.

Been here twice so far, pretty good place for Oliver Ales if you’re south of Baltimore and don’t want to trek to Pratt Street. Main bar area has a good amount of space and there are two smaller bars towards the back of the restaurant. Nice selection of draft beers and a few casks from Oliver Ales. Sizable draft list of guest beers as well, looks to be close to equal ratio of Oliver’s offerings. Decent bottle list. Food is pretty good, $6 appetizers on select menu items during happy hour. Parking can get scarce around happy hour as the restaurant is in a plaza with other businesses.

Ambiance: Clean, open, loud but not too loud, it’s always crowded, so make a reserve; parking lot is a nightmare, so use the complimentary valet. Service: Went twice. First time, service was good. Second time, service was amazing. My buddy ordered a regular beer, they brought him the cask version (he hates cask ales, go figure). Waiter apologized and brought him three free samples of similar beers (non-cask version had kicked), then replaced the cask version with his choice. Staff seemed beer-smart. Selection: About 30-40 taps, half Olivers and half guest taps, mostly regional. All solid craft choices. About three cask options, and a small but well-chosen bottle list as well. Food: Fare was AMAZE-BALLS. Go for the mac and cheese, which comes in a mini cast-iron dutch oven. It’s creamy, topped with buttery-crunchy panko, and you can customize it with pulled pork, smoked jalapenos, andouille sausage, etc. Value: Food is pretty high priced, but the beers are mid-range; there are actually some decent beer specials, your waiter will fill you in. It’s nice that the beers come in three sizes (10, 16, 20), and free samples, too. Overall: Really excellent place, definitely worth trying. The first time we went, we made reservations on our way out the door for three days later, it’s that good.

Happy to finally see a place open in the old Rocky Run spot and to have it be a beer spot. Walked in to a really nice set up. Very modern looking. Very happy to have the Oliver beers in Columbia. Great selection of Olivers brews along with some guest beers. Our waiter was excellent, very knowledgeable and diligent. The food was great. All fresh and good portions. I will say it is a little pricey for the food, there’s really no middle priced options but it is excellent quality so you are getting what you are paying for. I will be a repeat visitor. dlovell2 must try: Food: Thai Mussels Beer: Olivers Biship’s Breakfast, Olivers Coventry Cream
