70 Næstsidste dag på en ferie der slet ikke bød på nok øl. Rigtig god mad, men servicen var so so. Søde men havde ingen ide om øllene. Fik to øl de ikke anede hvad var, men fik dog en ny da jeg fik en forkert der smagte dårligt. Ikke helt vild med konceptet. Blandet oplevelse, men fedt at prøve. |
84 Visited on the afternoon of Tuesday 7th Feb 2017. Lovely location, typical Yard House (dark inside with a huge central bar surrounded by stools: tabled seating with waiting staff in all directions also. My wife and I sat at the bar as I wanted to see the ’chalkboard’ selection and what specials turned up on the screen up above the actual bar. Had the 6 beer ’changing flight’ or whatever they call it and then it was Happy Hour and we had pints, Sliders and the Mushroom Lettuce Sandwiches. Got to say the server, beers and food were all superb: wife liked the relaxed feel of the place, as I did also (pretty quiet customer wise), so a win win situation all round. With around 100 different taps you would have to be a real geek to have tried them all before and with their rare and limited edition selection it is unlikely to be the case anyway. |
74 Visited on a Sunday afternoon in August 2014. Really crowded with a lot of people, it took some time to find a seat at the bar. Some interesting beers on tap but also many not that interesting beers to be honest. The location was great, right on the water. Quick and friendly service despite being crowded. |
70 This location is pretty cool. Out near the docks, across from the Convention Center and off of Ocean Blvd.
Not the biggest of the Yard House locations, but it certainly holds plenty of people. There’s a number of other bars and restaurants right on this strip as well. Typical Yard House set up with the ovular bar and 100-some taps of only the most easy to find beers around. They had a few beers that I had yet to try, which was kind of surprising, actually. Pricing is typical $6-$7 a pop. Service is decent here. If you’ve been to a Yard House, you’ve been to them all. |
64 Shoreline village. Easy (albeit $1) parking. Huge restaurant with an equally huge (100+) tap list. Odd that at a place with over 100 taps there are only 2 beers that I haven’t had (and wasn’t particularly interested in ordering) over 1/3 of the list is macro, and almost no local options outside of Eagle Rock. That said, the Sculpin I ordereded was pretty fresh, and it’s a decent atmosphere. Service was cold but efficient, plenty of TVs. Nice views, and probably a good place to view the long beach Grand Prix. Food was decent, but not amazing. I didn’t try the cocktails. A bit pricey for what it is. Overall a generic experience. |
68 They really got a lot of beers on tap here, but it isn’t the most exiting ones. The food was a bit disappointing, some really nice, some mediocre at best, but at least we got good and friendly service. A really busy place, quite noisy too, not a place I will miss. |
70 Basing my score on a recent visit to the Dedham, MA location though I do remember visiting Long Beach many years ago and really liking it though I suspect it has gone downhill now that this is such a huge chain. |
64 Nice location along the marina. Went for lunch on a Monday and it was pretty packed by 12:30. Decent service, food was decent. Selection of beers is good with several local and regional beers that I can’t get at home, but otherwise a pretty standard (though large) selection of beers that you can find in good beer stores across the country. |
92 Realy great selection of beers on tap. Never seen that anywhere else ! |
80 Very nice location. Very crowded and noisy on weekends. Food is very good and brews on tap are also very good. Craft brews, belgium and more, a nice selection. A bit too pricey. |
