Firehouse Grill & Brewery (Texas)

Well....I’m not sure about this place. First of all it’s the 3rd bar to inhabit this location, and I’ve been to all 3. The first two sucked and closed within several months, and this place opened up last month. I went there expecting to try their beer, but they do not brew as of yet. They have no equipment on site and are planning on contracting out to someone. They will hold a contest sometime in October to see who will win the contest and then they will start brewing, but for now they are just a craft beer bar. They do have a decent tap list and bottle listing. Several of the big name American crafts are on the list. Lots of TV’s and I’m pretty sure it’s non-smoking. I had the Chicken Fried Steak which was alright at best. Seasoned fries and veggies were good though. I won’t go out of my way to visit again until they start brewing.
