I actually went here for some new brewery tick from Arcadia or something but it kicked before I got there. Busy place, chain feel. I was forced to mill around the bar area until a seat opened up. Tap list was locals/regional focused; nothing too amazing, but when I realized that HopMonk is actually a brewery on the site I perked up and ordered the Keller. I did not try the food but the bar service was first rate. Beer kinda sucked but you don't have to oder their shite unless you are a shameless ticker such as myself.

My favorite Sebastopol escape while attending Sonoma State.

Swung by on the way back from the coast. Nice place, old railroad depot, good sized out door area. Sat outside on the deck area, waiter was good, quick, polite. I got the samosas pretty good. Tried some of the wife’s ham and cheese, which was also good, more ham than cheese, fine beer selection, I had the hop monk IPA wife had the Dunkel, both were fine, they did have Pliny on, but we were going to RR for diner do dint try, also Drakes, Moonlight, not really a value spot, you pay a fair price for good food. Overall I like it, if this were in my town I’d be here plenty. Outdoor space really is the sweet spot, had a guy singing, playing guitar. Not an go outta your way for spot, but if you’re in or driving through Sebastopol check it out.

Crowded on a weekend night and they had a band playing as well. The main restaurant and bar area is not huge, but they have plenty of outdoor space and a nice large patio area. Service was really quite fast, even with the crowd. They had the four Hopmonk beers available as well as a list of other Bay Area offerings (Drakes, Baeltane, Moonlight, Russian River, etc.). Definitely a nice place to sit and have a beer.

A good number of taps, with a number of interesting beers. A large location with 275 capacity including all rooms and the outside patio. Up and coming small chain. House beers made by Gordon Bierch, whom the owner sold his old chain too (Gordon Bierch). Policy oriented staff for the most part.

This used to be a great place to get a craft beer. Now it seems that the bartenders have no idea on how to pour a beer. No thanks to the 1" of foam. Not when I am paying $6 a pint. Nor do they any knowledge of the guest beers. This place could be great. They should have gotten this one right before opening the 2nd location. Great stage, great patio. I’ll keep coming because it’s best place for beer in Sebastopol. Please learn how to pour and knock a dollar off the pints.

Pretty boring bar overall, but they had Alaskan smoked porter, a few other seasonals, and decent offerings like Pliny on tap. Not cheap tho. House beers include 2 by Gordon Bierch that I didn’t try.

Very nice place with an adorable beer garden. The house Kellerbier was good, but I admit I preferred to try the guest taps, with some Moonlight and Russian River choices I just couldn’t pass up. Food was also quite good (fresh mussels and oysters, yum!) and service was prompt and professional, if not beer knowledgeable. I am glad to have stopped by because these people seem to care about the total experience, not just the beer menu.

An old train depot converted into this classy brewpub, with a warm decor, eye pleasing. Friendly service. Only 3 beers made onsite, with around 10 interesting guest taps (Russian River Pliny, Duchesse de Bourgogne) a Upscale pubmenu. mix of US micros and belgians in bottles. Free samples given out.

Cool little out of the way place on the northern California. I liked two of their three house beers and they had a good selection (albiet small) of other brewers like Alaskan and Moonlight. The beer garden was nice and the food was very good.
