No Longer In Business

As I understand it, the owners decided they wanted to move on, so I don’t think they were forced into closing. Nonetheless, it is tragic that they are gone. A Korean restaurant moved in afterwards and quickly folded, so I’m not sure if there is anything there now. They had a solid selection of German beers, and a fantastic Oktoberfest Celebration in the bar section during the month of October. I thought the food was rather good, though it was German food, so perhaps that is why some thought it was not so good. I was truly sad to see them close.

Great food. Great beer list. It’s not the BEST food I’ve ever had, but it is my favorite restaurant in CVille Apparently they’ve now gone out of busness. This is tragic to an absurd degree. EDIT 4/6/24: Well they've been out of business for a long time now. But I see my review is lacking. Did I remove an earlier one when they went under? Who knows. Well, I remember this place well. Customer service always top notch. Waitresses in their dirndls giving friendly and professional service. Food was top notch. I'm still craving that jaeger schnitzel and I have not found it's equal (I suspect this was not a "Bavarian" restaurant). I loved the food an that your entree would come with several various pickled things around the edge of the plate. Beer selection was standard German restaurant fare, which is always a plus if you're a lager fan (which I am). I loved this place and I miss it still well over a decade later.

very close to where i used to live. a supposedly german bar that has expensive german style food and beer. honestly the food is terrible, but the waitress is quite friendly and it has a decent atmosphere.
