Smoky dirty pub in a stripmall. Had one of their own beers on draft, which apparently is the norm. Patrons looked like surly locals in no mood for strangers. Everyone was smoking.

Within the hallowed walls of the pub contains a place trapped in time and space where it’s forever 1988. Lots of dark panelling decorated by random copies of medieval weapons although you can smoke here so I’m sure there are times when it’s hard to see the swag on the walls. They have three of theirs on tap with 13 others of the BMC variety. The beer was served in glasses so cold they had chunks of ice stuck to them. They even reused the beer mats. Talk about science experiment.

Smokey, small going for a cheap version of a Brittish/Irish pub. The bartender seems friendly and polite, though I can’t vouch for her beer knowledge. They have their 3 beers on tap plus 13 taps of mainly college beer. The Scottish ale I tried was bland and uninspired, though certainly drinkable. It was served in a cold glass with an ice chunk on the rim, so When I tried to clink glasses there was no sound, which was funny in a bad way.

A very smokey bar that also brews their own beer. The beers are average to good with nothing really special here. I did not have food so I cannot comment on that. The smoke really detracted from the atmosphere, so be forewarned if you visit.

Smokey, dark and essentially a child free zone. Selection of house brews and a few macrobrew bits and bobs. Reminded me of the dingy bars I used to go to when I lived in Birminghan in England. Not a place to take the wife, but for a few pints with the lads its ok.

Visited early on a Friday. Not too crowded and this place clearly attracts a more mature crowd, which is nice. Bar on one side and restaurant on the other. Bar was a little smoky but that will change soon with impending law changes. Nice English pub vibe, with the requisite beers on tap (Bass, Boddingtons, Guiness and the like). They had three house beers on tap. Unfortunately none were very good. Bar staff was very nice. Did not order food. $4 a pint for the house beers.

Update... with the law changes they took the steps to remain a smoking establishment. I guess that’s cool if you smoke, but for me, that knocks this place down several points.
