Great selection with very helpful staff. Overall a bit expensive, but worth a trip for the great variety.

Nice selection of beer and pretty fair prices. I would love to have this place as my local beer store. It looks like they focus on carrying a great selection of good stuff rather than the gamut. Nothing to surprising given that I live in VA, albeit a different region. I had just missed the last bottle of Oerbier Reserva, that would have been special!

Really solid store located in a strip mall that hasn’t changed much in years. Probably hadn’t been inside this store in at least 5 years, until I ventured in the Thursday after Thanksgiving looking for some beers at Richmond prices to bring back with me to MD. I wound up having a great trip. Picked up a bunch of Founders and Bells stuff along with some various other one offs. The guy working there was very nice, always offering to help, and offering to make singles out of anything that might only be in 6s. I’ll visit this store again, probably in less then 5 years this time.

This is my favorite beer store in the Richmond area. Even when I lived in the Fan, I would make a trip out to the West End to pick up some brews from Westpark. The staff is great, prices are reasonable, and the selection is impressive. And, now that I think about it, I actually bought my first legal bottle of beer in this store, and the owner decided to throw in a free DFH Worldwide Stout to celebrate my new legal drinking status.

Very friendly and helpful people and a damned fine selection of brews. Phenomenal sales while I was there, and a lot of stuff I’d been looking for. Good prices. Stop here.

Nice open store layout. Impressive selection of beer. This is first shop i’ve been in that truly lives up to the name of Wine & BEER. They do a nice job of splitting the store evenly between wine and beer. I found many beers that have been harder to find in the Richmond area.

Great selection. If there’s a beer you want and it can be obtained from a distributor, Matt will work to get it for you. Better prices than the other comparable stores. It’s a bit out of my way, but worth the trip.
