This is my review for the old location, which I miss dearly.

Oct. 20, 2010: I’ve been trying to stop here for quite some time and finally got the chance today. It’s located in an office building, the rest of which is taken up by a real estate company. The vibe certainly suits the business crowd, as its fairly upscale (though I didn’t feel out of place in jeans and a t-shirt). Parking is fine. The service was very friendly, even though I was pretty high maintenance (a million questions about the beer, changing my food order, etc.). Upscale menu with options like Kobe Beef Burgers, Foie Gras and others, though there are also some more affordable options and my fish and chips ($9) were both very tasty and a fairly large portion. Samplers are available as are growler fills for $10 with some of the seasonals a few dollars more. the beer ranges from solid to very good. They have a cask option as well, which is nice. Definitely worth a stop, and I’d even say worth going a bit out of your way for. Old score 82.

And time to update my review again. Vintage 50 underwent a rebranding to "The Beer Joint". It seems all of the male staff resigned around a similar time to be replaced by surly female staff.. Expect tight clothes, lots of tattoos, and marginal knowledge about beer. On the up side, Brett continues to brew unique styles, some better than others. This place could still use a solid IPA on constant rotation, but I like the variety. I gave up on the food long ago so I’m moving my rating there to N/A. Someone else will have to take a gamble with that. The brewer has assured me that the happy hour is staying in place. While things seemed to be improving, the brand change certainly hasn’t helped in my opinion.

Nice little brewpub in Leesburg. Decent draft selection. Beers range from average to good. Food is pretty good though a bit pricy for the portion. Did the sampler which came with six 4 oz beers and was pretty reasonably priced. Bartender was friendly. Decent service. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Great little brew/gastropub. The food has gone downhill a bit, but the beer is improving from a slump of about two years

Located in an office building in a commercial area. Nice outdoor seating available. Samplers of 4 of their beers are available for $10. Friendly staff and worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Despite having their beers at various beer festivals over the last half-decade, I have only just visited the brewpub. Strange location - ground floor of a small office building, tucked not too far off the beaten path, but just enough. We arrived at exactly noon and were the only customers in the place - on a Saturday at 12, this seemed to be a little strange. The place got a bit more busy by 12:30 and it looked a lot better by 12:45.

Waiters were attentive and friendly. The beers were pretty good, though I had had almost of them either before at the beer fest from the previous week or they were the few apparent hold-overs from prior to this newest brewer.

Food was good - friends had one of the sandwiches and I had the jambalaya. Nothing bad said about the food, so check there. Prices for the DC area are comparable, perhaps a little high-end for the area, but since Loudoun is the #1 income earning county in all of the country, I’d probably say it’s one of the last things to complain about.

Good ambience and food with about 5-6 taps, waiters happy to explain beers and have higher gravity stuff as well as cask

This place is a bit of a chocolate-covered turd. Despite being located in a non-descript office building, the decor was warm and inviting. Sat in the bar area which had a number of flat screen tvs all turned to the big game. The service was ok. I hate having to ask for water multiple times. They had 6 different things on tap: a couple of stouts, IPA, lager, amber ale(yawn). One of the stouts I had tasted like burned toast. The other was this rather ridiculous imperial stout that wasn’t very imperial. The only food we had was a spinach dip that didn’t have much spinach. The crowd skewers older and yuppie. This is a place to be seen whilst drinking cocktails. The beer, not so much.

Sat in the bar, the service was OK but not great, our server couldn’t seem to remember all of our drink orders when there were only 2 of us. The food is OK but a little over-hyped. They are trying to be an upscale brew pub but most everyone is drinking wine or mixed drinks which doesn’t speak well of their beer. Folks are clearly here for the food and not the beer.

Stopped by mid-afternoon on Saturday and enjoyed a few beers along with a rather good burger. The beers are somewhat lacking overall, but the cask ESB was particularly good. The service I received was very good; the waiter had several tables and was really hustling. There were 6 house beers available at my visit plus 1 cask ale. The location is fairly easy to find and worth a stop.
