44 I have tried this once. Their beer is nothing notable and the meal I had was OK. In fact my food was also over sauced (too sweet) and sloppy. If you are walking right by this place and are hungry it might be worth your time. There are better food options in the immediate area. When I was there I didn’t notice the huge tap selection this place had while it was the Kirkland Roaster. I seemed to remember pretty much just their house beers. What happened to the Roaster? I loved that place. Great food and awesome draft beer selection. |
70 Came here with Oakes awhile back and forgot to enter a rating. Big place with a central bar area. Menu is Hawaiian, but the food wasn’t particularly good. Burgers were a bit oversauced and sloppy. Loads of taps with a nice selection of WA state micros. Service was okay, but she didn’t know too much about the beer... had to sort out what we had in front of us from the menu descriptions. The Waimea beers themselves aren’t that great, but the other beers are worth checking out. |
68 Large tap room for Hawaii’s Waimea Brewing (didn’t see a brewery, was told the beer is shipped over). Hawaiian themed menu...no idea of authenticity. The house beer is a bit pricey but they have about 30 other taps as well. A little corporate in the feel but not too bad. It was quiet on my visit, service was all right but she seemed like she’d just smoked up. |
