64 Wonderful little place in "downtown" Mt. Vernon, just a block from Skagit River. 18 beers + 1 cider on tap on my visit. You can sample 3 beers for $5, which is a nice deal. Beer selection isn’t the most amazing, but for a small town it’s pretty nice. Service is friendly enough, and the decor is really warming. Certainly a lovely spot to hang out at for a beer. |
86 What a cool spot. Just a little pub off on a side street in sleepy little Mt Vernon, but very much worth a stop. There are about 20 faucets pouring interesting kegs from all over the state (as well as a few dependable non-WA kegs), especially stuff from north of Seattle. The setting is clean and welcoming. It’s a reclaimed brick building with new tables, booths, and bar, plus a cool little loft seating area upstairs. The girls behind the bar are charming and always working, never wasting time. The food is pretty good, and the happy hour specials are plenty inviting. I’ll definitely be back more than once, even though it’s an hour away from me. |
78 Good Alehouse with a fine beer selection. I think there are about 18 or so rotating beers on tap. Only good craft micro’s.

90 Excellent beer joint.
17 taps, 2 of which are nitro.
Constantly rotating selection with lots of micro’s, some definitely on the rare and hard to find side.
Kind of out of the way but worth the trip.
Food is excellent. A touch on the expensive side but the quality of the food and beer selection keep me coming back. |
