This place is temporarily closed due to flood damage in 2012. Work is ongoing to repair and reopen.... probably in 2015 at the earliest.

When I have lived in Hebden Bridge for a year, I enjoyed dropping by here for being able to taste a variety of the finest English ale. As a foreigner who is keen on ale, here is perfact place for me and I’d love to recommand visitors like me or those who want to try great cask ale which is from this town in near vicinity. Although it is quite spacious and has great beer garden located in lovely town centre, I’m slightly disappointed with interior due to not being able to feel traditional style of British pub. However, I can say this is one of the moste stunning pub, at least in Yorkshire excepting one drawback I mentioned as above.

Moyles Bar in Hebden Bridge just a few miles from Halifax is a great place to sample Real Ale. Winning pub of the season in 2008 and Calderdale Pub of the year in 2009, I think its one of the reasons why Moyles has been in the good beer guide for years. The discerning drinker must try Moyles bar with five constantly changing real ales from all over the British Isles, as well as bottled beers from all over the world and an AA rosette restaurant attached. You just can’t go wrong! After sampling the ale in Moyles, I immediately signed up to their text service where you give them your mobile number and they text you once a week with what’s on the bar. Absolutely Fantastic!!!!!
