“Independent wine shop (one of two branches, the other is in Bungay) specialising in wines and spirits, and with a good range of East Anglian bottled real ales plus a small number of less interesting international bottles. Shop is nicely laid out, staff very friendly and welcoming. Their website mentions Calvors, Grain, Green Jack, Wolf and Woodfordes but shop has a wider range of local brewers from Suffolk and Norfolk like Elmtree, Lacons, Barrell & Sellers and St. Peter’s. Certainly one of the best ranges of local beers available in east Suffolk.“

“So it’s what it says on the tin. The full range of Adnams bottled beers, plus some other beers, presumably from breweries they distribute. That’s about 1/4 of the stock. Also the full array of their spirits and also wine IIRC. There’s then a range of kitchen ware, god food bowls and random stuff like that. Beer was reasonably priced, the other tat was pretty pricey. Friendly enough staff. Only worth dropping in if you are after some Adnams ticks or killing time.“

“Quaint little pub in the middle of town. Oblong shaped with the bar in one corner. Sat in the small rear garden and ate fish and chips from the shop across the road. A few other people doing this and then relatively full inside. This was a Sunday out of season so would guess it gets rammed during the holiday months. Four Adnams beers (suspect that the Bitter and Ghost Ship are permanent and the other two seasonal) plus one quest - London Pride when we were there. Polite enough staff etc. Nice enough old fashioned seaside pub.“
