72 /100 Jenny Watts (Bar) 41 HIGH STREET Bangor’s oldest pub, established 1780. Close to Fealty’s Bar. The tap list is easily forgettable, but the most interesting for ratebeerians might be the bottles of Irish and and NI microbrews. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, decent food. |
80 /100 Fealty’s Bar (Bar) 35 HIGH STREET Nice little pub where the interior seems not to have changed recently. Moderate but decent beer selection. The gin selection is even better, but with some self discipline I stuck to the beers. Friendly and helpful bartender. No food. |
84 /100 Fealty’s Bar (Bar) 35 HIGH STREET This bar is a Mecca for anyone who enjoys a quality beverage. They have an ever changing selection of interesting beers from breweries who like to push the boundaries.
What is even more impressive is their selection of gins and whiskies. They easily have over 150 whiskies from all over the world but specialising in Irish, of course. The well thought out gin menu is the icing on the cake showcasing every desirable style and flavour profile.
Make sure you don’t pass it by! |
80 /100 Fealty’s Bar (Bar) 35 HIGH STREET A hidden gem, stocking local brews, sour beers, porters, milk stouts, IPA’s, APA’s, saisons. blondes and other funky delights. Stock changes on a regular basis and the range is always appealing. |
