“Visited on Saturday lunchtime, 16/03/24. Smart well presented bar in the centre of Beaconsfield (New Town) and twinned with the bar of a similar name in Gerrards Cross. I just swung by for half an hour and there was a good buzz about the place, perhaps 6 or 7 people for the duration and another 3 or 4 popping in and out ... 5 dogs offered also! 10 beers on tap, 2 of which were cask, a fairly local bias - always a good thing for me with Indie Rabble, Stardust, Windsor & Eton featured along with Vault City, Polly's, Verdant and Yonder plus a few others ... all styles catered for including a bitter, lager, DIPA, Impy Stout, sour, IPA, pale etc. Fridge held perhaps 20 cans / bottles including a new Bucks brewery for me. Prices reasonable enough, NOT London, with thirds available on all pours. Live football on the screen at a low volume and they were planning to show the 6 Nations after I'd left. Friendly service, good vibes, relaxed place ... also an UT verified venue if you want to check what's on offer in advance. A solid first visit here and somewhere I'll definitely return to.“

“Visited on 4th December 2022 for breakfast and a pint before continuing our journey to Heathrow airport. Two floors, both fairly small for a Wetherspoon place. Basic and cheap, got a tick with my breakfast so happy enough.“

“Visited 5/4/2019. Quick pit-stop at a motorway services turned into a visit to this curiously located ‘spoons. Bright and airey inside, with a large patio area for those occasional sunny days. Offered up 5 cask ales including a couple of local brews. Otherwise it’s fairly standard stock on the other taps and in the fridge. Friendly service. Transient customer base, naturally. Fortunately not enough variety here for a ticker to be worrying about rating and driving when rejoining the motorway.“

“Visited for brunch on Saturday 13/01/18. Large open plan venue with a patio out front on the main street in Beaconsfield. This is the kind of place I may not consider adding in beer centric towns but Beaconsfield is far from that and you know what ... you could get a tick in here ... it's for you to find Jmgreenuk! The clientele at lunch was largely yummy mummies and families ... we had eggs benedict which were fresh, warm and tasty. There is a bar area at the front of the restaurant on the right as you enter and there were a few folks just sipping beers. 4 cask ales on offer including a few guests ... I picked up a Fullers seasonal - Holly Bush that was a new tick for me, so worth a look in if in the good beer desert that is Beaconsfield! Bottle list was small but had a few craft staples such as Punk. Overall not a go to destination but worth a look in if in the area.“

“Just off the M40 and surrounded by plenty of other eating houses. I kinda liked the downstairs part but upstairs seemed a bit sterile, dark and quiet. Food was OK, but the beer selection was a little limited for your average Spoons. Nice enough place though and I would return.“

“Located on the outskirts of Beaconsfield, this Spooneria is part of Beaconsfield services just off Junction 2 of the M40 - the first pub at a service station in the UK supposedly (and drawing controversy and opposition in terms of drink driving risks etc). This is a really nicely turned out spoons, I can only give it 3 for ambiance as it is simply a pit stop on the road so no real atmopshere, but it is smart clean and stylish throughout its 2 floors. No downstairs toilet nonsense either but you do have to head into the main servies area for the loo. 5 hand pumps, one was blank, one Doom Bar, the other 3 all with guests frome the relatively nearby Windsor & Eton brewery which was nice to see. The place was moderately busy on my Sunday late morning visit, people dropping in off the M40 as you might imagine, but with an Ibis hotel right next door I suppose this place could take on the characteristics of a pub in the evening with drinkers coming in from the hotel. Service was very good, the place was well staffed up despite it being a quiet time. All the usual keg taps, craft and otherwise, plus standard JDW food menu including a roast of the day. There is also plenty of outside seating overlooking a lake which would be plesant in the summer. Overall one of the nicest Spoons I’ve visited appearance wise and backed up with three local guests on cask,“
