“Bottleshop on Gloucester Road, north of the city centre. A fine selection of beers & ciders to take away or drink in. There is also four or five keg lines for consumption on site. Friendly service and nice ambiance when there are a few folk in. Worth a visit for sure!“

“Shop which offers a wide range of bottles and cans, of all styles including ciders, plus some comics for those who are interested. Also has four taps for drinking on site and seating. Offers good deals (50% off draught beers on Monday) and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Combine this place with the Draper's Arms just up the road and your visit should be a very good one.“

“Large pub which is one of the last Bath Ales venues left in Bristol. This is probably because, as CraftHowl suggests, it focuses on food. Beers are fine if you like Bath Ales' sweet products and food has been good quality whenever I have eaten there. I wouldn't seek the Wellington out, however.“

“Large cask led pub on Gloucester Road, the selection is usually reasonable and well kept. Beer festivals held here a couple of times a per year“

“Large red brick pub next door to Horfield Common on Gloucester Road. It's a food led pub serving Bath Ales beers, the cask has always been well kept on my visits there“

“Large pub which permanently serves a couple of Butcombe beers, Sharp’s Doom bar and 5-12 guests depending on the time of the week, with a bias towards West Country brews. Normally 4 ciders on handpump too. Staff are efficient and friendly and the kitchen produces good food - note the Sunday lunch is served until 5pm or when it runs out, whichever comes first. Convenient for the Memorial Stadium, home of Bristol Rugby and Bristol Rovers (away supporters at the latter don’t wear your colours). Bristol CAMRA pub of the year 2006.“
