“You might find the odd bargain, but I'd rather be in the open air.“

“Visited this place four years ago and it’s not what it once was. Still a good selection of Belgian, French and handful of English beers. Prices are pretty outstanding. You won’t find anything rare and they don’t seem to get Orval anymore but worth a look in. Also has a whisky, rum and wine section. Whisky and rum no cheaper than UK online.“

“Always pop in after going to the toilet when using the Chunnel just in case there are any new beers for me, pre-Christmans is best when they often have seasonal brews over and above the regular selection. Choices change on a fairly regular basis anyway and I have bought a few bottles here over the years.“

“The shop is the old Tesco in City Europe. Big and spacious, the beer selection is marvellous never seen so many French regional beers. Will definitely revisit next time. “

“We (me & Loz) visited here on Monday 10th February 2014 having been tipped off by Ians review of the place on here. It is on the bottom level and the opposite end from the large Carrefour for those who know Citi Europe, its close to where a number of eating places are. It is nice and roomy with beers to the right hand side and wines to the left with a smattering of spirits in the middle along with gift packs. There is also a bar in the centre i’m not sure how that worked, i.e. do you select and they then open for you? or is there a choice, not sure as I was more preoccupied with the beers. The beer choice was excellent with a very large range of French beers then good range of Belgian and UK beer including a number of rarities like Brewdog Abstrakt and Fullers limited edition beers, but also a reasonable selection of American and others. If I had more time I would have purchased more and took more time, but it is well laid out, well priced maybe not quite as competitively as somewhere like Dranken Geers but very good nonetheless. Will definately revisit soon.“

“Excellent bottle shop for the region. Lots of French biere de gardes, Belgian staples and new beers, surprisingly good Scottish section and then beers from Germany, Canada and America. I’ve had 100 rates from here and there’s still more to pick up. Good place.“

“Duty free shop at the Calais Eurotunnel terminal. Visited on 23/03/13 and thought worthy of adding as you may pick up some new rates here. 20 or more bottles largely Belgian and French but also inlcuding Fullers IPA (export name for Bengal Lancer) and Fullers Vintage (2011). Most of the Belgian beers are in gift boxes with glasses but represent not too bad value eg - 4 x St Bernadus beers , 6/8/10/12 + glass for E9.95. The french beers were all singular and you could pick up 750ml 6%+ beers for around E2.70. Service is fine and if nothing else a little beer browse to kill the time whilst waiting for your train.“
