“Gorgeous old brick building with a large patio backing onto the river. A solid selection of well-made beers. Pale ales and IPAs were excellent. Good food, if a bit on the pricy side. There’s a bottle shop as well on the side. Well worth the stop between Toronto and Montreal.“

“Great location for out of the way place. Right by some water with a 350 seat patio. Good space inside. Midway between Ottawa and Toronto, a good stopover. Focuses on the same lineup, making drinkable well executed beer.“

“2018-11-10. Beautiful big space in a former Corby Distillery building. Lots of old brick and heritage features. Tables made from old doors/shutters, etc. Large communal tables for the most part. It was pretty packed when we arrived just as two busloads of Marlies fans were finishing up dinner. The owner took us on a bit of a tour of the brewery side while we waited for a table. Live music was warming up as we were eating. They were good but a touch too loud for the space for my grumpy old man ears ;) Service varied from excellent to just okay depending on the person. The food was very good - I had a bit of a different take on a shepherd's pie that was richly delicious, but in hindsight a touch under seasoned. Mabel's trout was also very nice. 6 taps available tonight were all pretty decent, the hoppy beers being the highlights for me today. Flights of 4 or six available. Cans and growlers to go from the bottle shop. Sounds like they have lots of community building plans in the works as they move forward so it will be interesting to see how they progress. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.“

“A wonderful place in eastern Ontario.. The beers are all spot on, pils, ipa, sour, stout, you name it, they make it with high quality. The NEIPA was my favorite, juicy and hoppy. Food menu looks upscale, small plates, locally sourced. Service was friendly and prompt. Free wifi. 4 glass Sampler for 10$, or 6 for 15$. Plenty of parking. Beautiful terrace and scenery. A must in the Belleville area, or in transit from Toronto or Montreal.“

“Incredibly beautiful spot, with probably the nicest patio I've ever encountered. (It's an old distillery, and the history is embraced.) Everyone I've encountered is friendly and helpful, including the owner, who always seems to be around. The only complaint at this point is the selection - only their own four offerings, on tap, at this point. But it's new, and there are several empty tap handles, so presumably more are coming. There is food (small plates) which I have yet to try.“
