| 70 /100 A.M. RELJKOVIĆA 2 “Eh, just noticed this was added, so might as well rated. I *guess* you might be able to arrange a visit. Being friends with the brewer, I visited it twice. So basically, this is a traditional brewery, the oldest continuously operational one in the country, smack in the middle of an area populated by Czechs and their descendants. Size-wise, it's too small to be a full-on macro, but too large tank-wise to be a micro, landing in between, a true "independent" currently, with the brew master Krešo Maric being one of the most active people on the craft scene too. Anyway, quite interesting to see a place that's partly a window to the past, partly modern, its size and central location in the town underscoring its importance. They are starting to experiment more, and if you're lucky to get a tour, you might be further lucky and sample some of the experiments. They have been planning to open up a pub area in the place, but I'm not sure how that's going on now - hoping they do! Until then... keep in mind this is not free to randomly visit and probably should not be on the site riiight now.“ |
