“It was a popular, noisy place on a rainy day. It has host seating so to me it is more a restaurant than a brew-pub.The bar (eight taps) and dining seating (about 60) is upstairs where the staff were very good with service, the offer of suggestions and with product knowledge. Flights of four from the tap brews are available. The food was good quality with the menu offering some pub favourites as well as a few local style dishes. Downstairs inside the front door is the merchandise area and a fridge stocking about 24 chilled cans and also the Brew House. There is a smaller outdoor patio downstairs overlooking the cove. Non-beer (wine, cocktails, sodas) are also available. A popular place with lots of atmosphere.“

“Absolutely a great location and not a brewery to be missed for that alone...but add the great decor inside...the tables outside (weather permitting of course) and a really nice staff (but that's redundant...everyone in NF is really nice!)...and you have a winner...in spite of the beers being average...to a couple maybe a little better. They were comparable to many of the other beers I had in NL...(there aren't a lot of standout breweries yet in NL...so compared to Toronto or Vancouver...or the US...they are behind...as a comparison...my favorites in NL were Port Rexton and some of the Quidi Vidi beers). I enjoyed some nice light appetizers here...and most of all...great conversation. I suppose I can't leave this review without saying...buy a t-shirt...it'll turn some heads ad start some conversations when you get back home...lol.“

“2019-07-05. The space is bigger than I pictured from the photos online. Good amount of seating indoors and a small patio outside. Friendly servers. They use the shitty metal chairs that are the bane of my existence but seem to be popular at bars everywhere! :) We shared the burger special, cod bites and fried pickle spears. All seemed like they may have been frozen out of a box but were all very tasty. Nice views of the harbour. 8 taps on, the beers are all serviceable but accessible takes with only a couple of standouts. (I suspect the mainstream approach is by design.) There is a small museum about the area on the main floor which is worth a visit as well. Any enjoyable stop!“
