“Quick pint on 6th July 2017. Bog standard Wethersoon, bigger inside than it looks, decent enough cask selection, eight on my evening, plenty of keg and bottles too. Staff plentiful and friendly. Not too busy, found seats and a table without due fuss. Thought the place OK.“

“Visited on 6th July 2017. Single roomed place with the bar to your right on entering. Smart, clean tidy. Four hand pulls, three in use on my visit, all Scottish. Usual keg lines. Regular CAMRA good beer guide entry. Three big TV screens for sport. Busy on the Thursday evening with a well to do crowd of what seemed like locals. Liked it.“

“This is one of the hotel Wetherspoon pubs on the main road in and out of Edinburgh to and from Glasgow. It’s a busy place given its the only Wetherspoon away from the airport in the west of the capital and is popular with families for food so you may struggle for a table at times, and to get served, although there’s a decent enough ale selection at the bar as you’d expect. There’s a small patio area at the front in a pub that is elevated above the road level. Comfortably designed with a slightly funkier look than usual.“
