| 72 /100 Jolly Sailor (Bar) ASHLETT CREEK, FAWLEY “A good comfortable local serving excellent seafood dishes. A quiet setting in a river-side hamlet at the end of a twisting country lane. Fishing boats and yachts bobbing in the small harbour next to the old tide mill. The pub is relaxed and charming with a mix of locals either eating, reading the papers, playing bar billiards or just chatting. Cask choice is slightly limited - just a couple of Ringwoods while we were there, but the food and atmosphere more than makes up for that.“ |
