“Large pub in a village a little way out of Burnley, some beautiful views up towards Pendle Hill. Busy pub with a good food trade, there are some reasonable cask options available.“

“Not quite in the shadow of Pendle Hill, but in the pretty rolling hill countryside and villages to its South, this pub is in a large Tudor style building that does have an older world feel to it with its dominant wood panel and beam appearance and wooden furniture that compliments the decor. It has an extensive car park as food is a popular reason for coming here, and it can be taken in its fenced front garden area. Ales are served a several pumps and Bank Top ales are usually available. Dogs are welcome too.“
