“Fanstastic pub and restaurant. We proved both: really nice welch lamb in the restaurant and really nice cask beer in the pub. This is a picture pub, with a fantastic ambiance and nice beer selection. Maybe in summer it coulf be ceowdy by tourist and the place is little bit small. Loved it!“

“Have visited here a couple of times over the past decade. Inside the town walls, this is a lovely olde world pub with low wooden beam ceilings, dim lighting, carpets and wooden furniture. It's extremely cosy here and there's a number of different rooms including a restaurant area similarly decorated, but you can eat anywhere. The main bar area can get extremely busy and there's a number of cask ales available and you're pretty much bound to find something Welsh in the selection. You can also sit out front in the narrow street if you wish.“

“Really surprised that no-one has reviewed this place, as it is definitely the best craft beer place in the area. Very traditional looking pub in the center of Caernarfon. In a listed building that dates back to 1522. A sign outside proclaims it as being the ’Welshest pub in the World’. Had about 20 beers on, mostly craft / real ale but with a couple of macros amongst them. I had a Super Saison from Tiny Rebel, which was great. Bottle list looked a bit meh. Good, helpful service. Didn’t try the food unfortunately, as it looked fantastic. Prices were OK. Definitely worth a visit.“

“This place was touted as being the best bottle shop in the area, and so I was (perhaps inevitably) a bit underwhelmed on my visit. Service was quite friendly but the lady covering on that day did not know anything about the few beers that I asked about. They did have a good selection of Tiny Rebel beers and I was able to get one excellent beer from Lines Brewery that I had never heard of previously (Farmhouse IPA). Prices were OK. It probably is the best place in the area but then again there is not much competition around.“

“Bottle shop on The Hole in the Wall, Caernarfon. Massive range of Welsh beers, ciders, and to a lesser extent, spirits. Also wines, but I didn’t really pay attention to them to be honest! Friendly owner. Couple of seats outside. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.“

“On the edge of the Snowdonia National Park on the main road to and from Caernarfon, this holiday complex is open to all and has a large car park in front of the weathered looking main building where the bar exists. There was a full range of its own ales available and and a number of picnic tables next to and on the sloping grassy area out front.“

“A large pub with some interesting own beers offered. 5 house casks, some other kegs. Large terrace. Food was nice and tasty, good meat they have there.“

“Large open plan Wetherspoon just outside the castle walls in the historic town centre. This is a very Welsh speaking part of the country and you can expect to hear English only as a second language if the locals are dominating this bar, although there’s no shortage of tourists here because of the attraction of Wales’ best preserved medieval castle. There’s an extensive patio/garden area too and there’s real ales available as usual at the bar.“

“Hotel lodge like building about 10 or 15 minutes southeast of Caernarfon. Unassuming looking brewpub along the Welsh Highland highway with a campsite and restaurant inside. Only a couple of their own real ales on tap of fair quality. Food was bland and uninspired. Was nearly empty on a Thursday evening with little atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient.“
