80 /100 8/1 NGUYỄN THỊ MINH KHAI, PHƯỜNG MINH AN Located on the edge of the Hoi An old town. An absolutely charming place. Small and very tastefully decorated with bags of character, playing slow and stylish old French music too. They originally started out selling wine and cocktails before adding Craft Beer to the menu, so they now have eight tap beers from 7 Brodges + Heart of Darkness plus around 20 bottles and cans from a selection of other breweries. Great service and WiFi. A little pricey but fine for the location. The best place by far in Hoi An for a relaxing beer. |
62 /100 Hi5 Craft beer (Restaurant) 21 THÁI PHIÊN, PHƯỜNG MINH AN A nice little bar and restaurant outside of the hustle and bustle of Hoi An town. They have half a dozen beers on tap and a few cans. All the standard Vietnamese stuff. Decent food selection. Working WiFi, friendly owner. Awesome playlist of 60’s, 70’s and 80’s songs. |
76 /100 36 TRẦN PHÚ, PHƯỜNG MINH AN An awesome brewery taproom in the middle of Hoi An. It’s super spacious inside and tastefully decorated with bags of character. There is even a small garden at the back. They have 21 7 Bridges Beers and 17 guests, although some of those guests may be wine and hard sodas. Working WiFi and great staff. Same old 7 Bridges food. Pricing is the same as HCMC. Well worth stopping by and easily the best craft beer location in Hoi An right now. |
76 /100 Bungalow Beach Bar (Bar) 101 NGUYEN PHAN VINH, AN TAN, CAM AN 100m away from An Bang beach. A cool, open bar with 23 taps of purely Vietnamese beers from all the main brewers and a couple from Hoi An Artisanal too. On top of that they have decent bottle / can selection. Working Wi-Fi and great food. Good service and English was no problem. Probably the best bar that I’ve found in Da Nang / Hoi An. Highly recommended. |
56 /100 Burger Craft (An Bang) (Restaurant) 639 HAI BA TRUNG Located around 50m back from the An Bang beach and just around the corner from the Bungalow Bar. They sell burgers and beers just as it says on the tin. No taps here, but a small solid selection from East West and Dong Son. Worth a stop after a day on the beach. |
54 /100 Mango Mango (Restaurant) 45 NGUYEN PHUC CHU Big fancy restaurant on the island in the heart of the night market. Not much to write home about beer-wise, as they just had the same five East West beers that are available at many other places. Might just swing the decision to come here over another place though. |
68 /100 Mai Fish (Restaurant) 45 NGUYEN THI, MINH KHAI As the name suggests, a fish restaurant but with a decent selection of beer. They have half a dozen bottles each from East West and Heart of Darkness, but the real reason to come here is the Hoi An Artisanal beers brewed less than 50m from this site. There are not so many places in the town where you will find them. There is a nice patio overlooking the river. There are not many better places to sink a cool beer! |
76 /100 Mango Rooms (Restaurant) 111 NGUYEN THAI HOC Located in the heart of the old town, with one entrance facing onto the riverfront and another onto one of the main tourist streets. Blackboards outside advertise the craft beer. A few bottles from HoD and East West. Food looked OK. |
50 /100 Chi Tam (Grocery Store) 17 PHANTOM CHAU TRINH Small, touristy shop a few doors down from the Taphouse. Nothing earth-shattering but a few european bottles: some Belgians (including Chimays and even Rochefort 8) and a few Germans. Not cheap, so why not go to the Taphouse instead? |
42 /100 Mister T Minimart (Grocery Store) 639 HAI BA TRUNG Wybór średni, jak na Wietnamski sklep nie najgorszy. Obsługa raczej zajęta Facebookiem. Ceny zwyczajne. Sklep, wiec atmosfery brak. Jedzenia nie próbowałem. |
40 /100 Mister T Minimart (Grocery Store) 639 HAI BA TRUNG The only decent beer they had here is Duvel for 990000 (just under 4 Euros) but it’s the only place I could find in the town centre with anything other than lager. Handy for snacks, shaving foam etc etc. |
48 /100 Dingo Deli (Grocery Store) 229 CUA DAI ROAD Nice place. The choice is limited but good beers, 3 coopers, chimey red and duvel. |
52 /100 Dingo Deli (Grocery Store) 229 CUA DAI ROAD A combined Mini Mart and Restaurant along Cua Dai Road. We went in to buy some water and discovered that they had some nice beer here. Not a huge selection, but a couple of Chimays, Duvel, Coopers Original Pale Ale was enough to impress me. Excellent service, we paid for the beer in the Mini Mart and they brought the beer and cold glasses to us on the patio. It was nice to have some beer with more flavour after a lot of pale lagers. Duvel was about 110.000 VND. Not so bad, but of course way more expensive than Larue and the Bia hơi you get in town, but way cheaper than we get in in Norway. Pleasant patio for enjoying the beer and watch the traffic. We didn’t try the food. |
