“Situated in the Hove area within walking distance from central Brighton, but also close to the train station in Hove. Rather small, nicely decorated, pubroom with a L-shaped servery to the rear. Five cask ales and quite a few craft beers on keg. Popular and crowded on a Thursday eve. (Visited with Finn 17.10.2019).“

“Although it’s not a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of tourist heavy Brighton, it does feel so with a local crowd frequenting this establishment on the nice but passable main commercial street in Hove. If you are staying in Brighton and want to visit here for the range of ales Wetherspoons usually guarantees then it’s a fair walk from the city centre which could be combined with one along the coast. I took the train here from Brighton which was 3 minutes followed by a 10 minutes walk. The pub itself is no more than a couple of converted shop units and the almost square single room is decked out in the traditional soft finished look that’s very familiar for this chain. The service area is small but packs in the usual set of drinks and taps as well as the ale pumps. They were showing football when I visited in the spring of 2013.“
