But the food was very good, so waiting was compensated by the quality. Added it because it was the only place with atleast some craftbeer that we saw.“ |

In the summertime a wooden deck is erected outside on the cobblestone street, allowing guests to enjoy their beer outside. Klondaika is a modern bar with efficient service, it has four taps offering a cider and three Latvian beers (Mitava Gaišais, Cēsu Premium Alus and Užavas Tumšais). Visited on 2013-07-03.“ |
| 18 /100 Kafejnica Staburadze (Restaurant) LIEPāJAS 8 “Kafejnīca Staburadze looks like, behaves like and basically is a cheap, rundown diner, where local kids hang out for milkshake or ice cream. I did the mistake of ordering a hot meal here and it was not a pleasant experience - my Wiener schnitzel was soggy and drowned in a tasteless sauce, even McDonalds serve better food than this. As for beer, which is why I stopped here in the first place, Staburadze sports three taps, but one of the taps is a Kvass. The other two were Bauskas Tumšais Specialais and Aldaris Zelta Premium. | 64 /100 Kafejnica Pagrabins (Restaurant) BAZNīCAS IELA 5 “This is the best place in Kuldiga to go for both food and beer. In the summertime you can sit outside on a wooden deck above the small stream running by the old town hall which is now the home of Kafejnīca Pagrabiņš. The restaurant offers three Latvian beers (Mežpils, Piebalgas Alus and Užavas Tumšais) and a cider on draft, I could see no bottled beer in the fridge. Service was good and the food really tasty.
