“It's a book and wine store, while beer is not in abundance. Few beers available from Birra Salento, some books about beers offered as well. Staff is not very friendly and helpful, so can't state many benefits...“

“Small shop with about 40 cooled bottles of Italian craft beer and also some foreign breweries, which you can also drink there. No taps. Very nice and helpful staff, who is really into beer. Quiet crowded at night at the weekend.“

“Brand new-ish (opened December 2014) pub not far from Piazza Mazzini, I guess a 15 minutes walk from the train station. It is quite small, at least when I last visited, but I’ve heard that they recently upgraded the place opening another room. One single fridge full of bottles/cans and one wonderful draft system with 10 tap lines, which mind you are not all interesting, but for a city like Lecce is not only brave but also remarkable. Half of them were middle-of-the road Belgians, and the rest Italians (almost the whole Terrona line-up, which should be local but I’m afraid they contract brew who know where) with a Brewdog in the mix. I love that you can choose between 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 1 liter sevings. Props for that! No proper food as far as I know, but they’ll give you some snacks (peanuts/taralli etc.) for free when you order a beer. Super nice and friendly owners, pleasent atmosphere with a few locals drinking and chatting while playing darts or chess. You can also buy bottles and take them away. A fantastic addition to the ever growing Apulian craft beer movement.“

“Il posto è veramente molto bello. Si tratta di una libreria-gastronomia-enoteca. Di birre ce ne sono poche, in pratica solo quelle del birrificio B94, un birrificio salentino. Ma vale la pena andarci lo stesso, perché si posso trovare, oltre a libri e CD dedicati soprattutto alla cultura salentina, anche moltissimi prodotti tradizionali salentini, che si possono abbinare alle birre. NB. Non sono riuscito a trovare l’indirizzo esatto. Quello indicato è quello della sede centrale, che è una libreria. Comunque GustoLiberrima si trova proprio di fronte.“

“Il locale è abbastanza carino con una atmosfera rilassata con la possibilità di sedersi anche fuori, al bancone sono presenti 3 spine. Per le bottiglie invece la selezione non è male, un paio di volte ho trovato anche birre lambic, ci sono soprattutto birre belghe, qualche americana e anglosassone. Comunque a Lecce c’è di meglio“

“This was my absolute favorite place in Lecce for craft beer! I was so happy to see they had HopArt on tap (such a great beer!). They had 4 other crafts on tap but once I tasted tge fresh HopArt, that’s all I wanted. They also have a wide variety on bottle, including many great Italian craft brews, such as Birra del Borgo, Rurale, Retorto, Birrificio Italiano and many others. It’s just a small place inside but cozy, and they have a big screen tv where they showed World Cup games. They have several tables outside, on one of the main streets of Lecce’s centro storico. The service was excellent and they know their beer! A large tap was €5, so a fair price. i highly recommend this place and can’t wait to visit again when in Lecce. “

“The first and still the only beershop in Lecce, like an oasis in the desert. It’s a small room with a relaxed and chill atmoshphere. Actually, it’s both an "enoteca" (wine shop) and beer shop, but lately more and more attention is being dedicated to the beer section. Three taps are always available for on-site consumption, with proper glassware (mailny Tekus). Regarding the bottles selection, I’d say that it’s both local and Belgian oriented. Quite a few styles are represented, (tripels, dubbels, trappists like Orval, Achel, Rochefort, La Trappe and the new Gregorius, sometimes Cantillon) plus some more well known brands. Being also focused on local breweries, it’s always possible to purchase beers from Apulia breweries, with a good selection of bottles from B94, Birranova and Gruit. A few internationals brands are also offered, from the USA (Sierra Nevada and Flying Dog) and the UK (Brewdog, Traquair, St.Peter) and also from Italians breweries like Soralamà, Birra del Borgo and Birrificio del Ducato. Prices are usually fair, and the staff is always friendly and kind. For the reason explained in the first sentence of this review, I’m aware that I’m being very generous with the score, but for being the only option beside on-line purchases, it’s always a joy and a pleasure entering the door of this shop. Essential.“

“Cozy pub with nice atmosphere and great service/staff. Frequently changing quality craft beers on taps with interesting selection. Mostly european beers (belgian, italian, danish, etc...) with occasional american beers. No bottles. Good pizzas and other small snack. If you ever travel to Lecce, Prophet pub is the place to go for a beer!“
