“Small shop unit bar where it begins to get leafy on the northern side of the commercial area of Chapel Allerton. The bar is squeezed into one corner just after you enter, but manages to get a fair selection of cask and keg on it - both from North Brewery and guests. Its a cosy intimate place on the ground floor, with a spillover room upstairs, which doesn't quite achieve the same atmosphere.“

“Modern, american / craft themed bar by Arc inspirations - not usually known for beer prowess. Permanent Kegs inc. thornbridge Jaipur, Flying Dog Doggy style and Shipyard Pale Ale. One guest keg (currently Anarchy Quiet Riot) and now one magic rock keg - although disappointing level of rotation on these (monthly) Some other decent bottles available from Thornbridge, flying dog and founders. American Style menu - some excellent Burgers - cannot go wrong with the Pitmaster. Lively on weekends but not aimed at the beer nerd. Decent selection given that. “

“JD Wetherspoon pub occupying a large freestanding building just off the main road junction in the Chapel Allerton area of Leeds. There’s parking and outdoor areas given it is set back from the road. Inside the ground floor space it occupies is considerable, despite this expect it to be busy at peak times of the week. Food is popular given its family friendly and the decor is traditional and comfortable for this pub chain with a dark wood style. Ales are on the regular two sets of pumps.“
