50 /100 Hollies Farm Shop (Grocery Store) NORTHWICH ROAD Less than a couple of minutes drive south of junction 10 on the M56. The farm shop is part of a modern warehouse building set well back from the main road, although there’s signs to let you know when to turn. There’s everything you’d expect in here from fresh produce to gifts for every occasion - it’s pretty much a small good looking supermarket. The ale selection is limited though, with a couple of regular ales from the Weetwood brewery offering up the best of the choices, and a couple of well known European lagers. There were a couple of bottled ciders out of Suffolk here too. |
64 /100 Hollies Farm Shop (Grocery Store) NORTHWICH ROAD Posh food shop, selling local produce and of course local bottled real ale, a bit on the expensive side to go regularily, but a good place for food and drink if you want to impress |
72 /100 Ring O Bells (Bar) NORTHWICH ROAD Fairly good local pub with 3 real ales on hand pump, friendly landlord John, open fire with a cosy atmosphere |
