72 /100 WELLGARTH, MASHAM More of a family day out sort of place, focus is on the shop (very good quality beer clothing) and the restaurant. Only their own beer on offer, but there has never been anything wrong with that. |
72 /100 WELLGARTH, MASHAM Nice venue with very good food and of course the Black Sheep selection of beers. Didn’t do the brewery tour but it was available, and there were interesting goodies available at the on site shop. |
78 /100 White Bear (Theakston) (Bar) WELLGARTH, CROSSHILLS, MASHAM Pleasant pub with a very nice selection of Theakston beers. This is a nice stop in a very pleasant Yorkshire town. Definitely worth a stop. |
64 /100 WELLGARTH, MASHAM Small shop and pub with local fare. Nice place but nothing spectacular. Worth a look if in the area but not worth going out of your way for. |
62 /100 WELLGARTH, MASHAM Not too far from the famous Fountains Abbey, You’ll find this brewery visitor centre on the edge of the village of Masham; the quiet and cozy pub atmosphere is "disturbed" by a quite dull shop, which offers more souvenirs than beers..... Nevertheless, worth a visit! |
78 /100 THE BREWERY, MASHAM I suppose you could say that this pub is the first place to get Theaskton beer deliveries. Its the best Theakston beer Ive tasted. its a modern refurnisment but very cosy and a great place to sit and drink a few beers. The Theasktons brewery tour is great. |
72 /100 White Bear (Theakston) (Bar) WELLGARTH, CROSSHILLS, MASHAM It’s the Theakston brewery pub, but it does not seem to be on the brewery website, except for general information. It’s really very nice. Nice selection of Theakston’s real ales. Just excellent food. Combine this with a visit to the brewery. |
58 /100 Bay Horse Inn (Bar) 5 SILVER STREET, MASHAM It’s a decent local pub. Food looked good, ales were tasty. Worth a visit, if you are in Masham, because there are not many pubs in Masham! |
76 /100 WELLGARTH, MASHAM Masham is a bit out of the beaten path, yet this modern equivalent of a brew pub is well worth the effort. Great ales and food. Many sorts of breweriana and clothing to purchase. And it’s right next door to the Theakston’s brewery and its great White Bear pub. Another should not miss venue. |
