Place is industrial looking, with decent seating, cheaper beer than the beer stores in town, free tastes available.. Weird payment system where you pay by credit or cash for brewery cash. Beers were a bit below average, compared to the other Brazil beers tasted so far.. They have local eataries setting up shop during public opening hours.. Good burgers but excessively service the night we were there.“ |

It’s on the Corner of Fernandes and Tetonio Vilela. This is a very cozy, almost too dark of a Gastropub. There are several tables inside and many more outdoors. Bathrooms are clean, but very small. The food menu is small, but looks fantastic. The portions are large, and prices are very reasonable. The smoked sausage and meat & bread were fantastically tasty. The beer menu is the best you will likely find in the entire city, if not entire region. Numerous Brazilian craft brews, American craft brews, and European brews. There were numerous selections on the menu that were of interest to me. The prices are steep when it comes to beer, but this is the way of life in Brazil when it comes to craft beer. The owner of this place is super nice and out-going. I loved this place.“ |

Some Brazilian crafts like Eisenbahn and Way, not to mention Founders and Anderson Valley, and Duvel. Lots of spirits, too. Spices, nuts, and other bulk items are available as well. They do not take credit cards, however. The craft beers are pricey...R $20 a bottle, but you can talk the guy down a bit to a better deal. Expect prostitutes to be in the general viscinity late at night.“ |

This particular location is located across from the Jardims Mall. I would imagine that all of the stores would have similar selection. Regardless, they were selling 12 oz bottles of Racer 5 IPA for R$20 (about $9 USD), they also had Duvel, and a bottle of Brasilian microbrew. They also had some German and European stuff that I’ve never seen before. All in all, a bit of a surprise. Steep prices, but that’s life in Brasil.“ |
