“This place is right at the entrance of a giant stripmall with an obscene amount of parking. There is a pizzeria inside and a bar, plus a ton of patio seats, and a few indoor tables. Service is fine, beer is fine. That is all.“

“Another one in the "chain" of Kralj Matjaž pubs. This one is located in Supernova shopping centre. Large terrace, big interior - modern industrial looking. Only 3 house beers so far, but great pizzas. To quench your thirst during the shopping.“

“Top located restaurant at the riverside of Krka. Neatly furnished with large patio. Few Ressel beers and few Germans to offer. Not much, but at least some locals present. Food is good, service not so much, but definitely worth of a visit...“

“Right in the heart of old trown. A new place with a typical modern pub feel. Not a small nor quite large place. 8 taps of Slovenian craft beer with one of the tapes taken over by their house beer brewed by Pelicon. Some limited bottle offer. Definitely a place to go in town if looking for some nice craft beer and a good vibe.“

“Wide open space bar, part of the shopping center / cinema by the Krka river. Has got a nice patio where you can enjoy few tens of beer classics. Certainly good for Novo mesto, although nothing special...“

“Modern looking place with fair terrace outside teh city centre - sort of industrialism meets pub. Connected to the barber shop (the same owner). A decent selection for Novo mesto, some regulars, some more interesting. Staff is in the know about the craft beers, fair prices. All in all a nice place to have a beer or two (and get your beard done).“

“A lovely place down by the river, just a couple minute walk from the centre. A place to sit down and relax. Nice and very tasty food and recently also some domestic and foreign craft beers. Not the biggest selection in town, but the atmopshere beats the lack of it (a bit).“

“A nice little place outside the city centre. More like a cafe, but it does offer some nice English, Belgian, German beers. The staff is very cool and the atmosphere likewise. Not the greatest selection, but stil a very nice one.“

“This place is actually a book store with a fairly small cafe in it. Not your typcial palce to get a beer, but it’s actually one of the few places in the centre of the town where you can get some nice English, Belgian, German and American beers (about 20 beer in total). So, why not.“

“A nice place right next to the city centre with a great terrace overlooking a river. Some typical Slovenian beers, as well as German, Belgian, English and American beers. Not the best offer in town, but the scenery makes up for it a bit. A nice place.“

“A pleasant place to spend your afternoon outside of the city centre. Really a cafe, but they do have some nice German wheat beers, a couple of Belgians, Americans and Czech as well. In addition to very inviting pizzas. A nice chill out place.“

“Located just next to the center of this small town, next to the cinema complex. Nice outside terrace. Offering about 30 different beers. Some fairly common, but also a few beers that are impossible to get elsewhere in the city. Some German, American, Belgian, Czech and Slovenian beers. Promising.“

“A typical small town pub. On the weekends, a hangouth for local youth and playing oldies goldies. Through the day, a decent pub, where they only recently got some beers woth mentioning, such as Chimay, Fullers, Adnams, Paulaner,... in adition to the two leading Slovenian brands. One of the few places in town to get some decent beer.“

“Just another chain of supermarkets, but sadly the best (only) place to find some domestic and international beers in the small town. From time to time, there are some new interesting beers, but mostly standars supermarket offer.“

“The best pub in this small town to grab a beer. Not much choice really, only a few foreign ones in addition to two main Slovenian beers, but the do get some specials from time to time. The atmosphere is great and the prices are affordable for the student’s life.“
