60 /100 Slijterij De Smörre (Beer Store) BURGEMEESTER WALLERSTRAAT 119 Small drinks shop in the Berghuizen part of Oldenzaal. The shop is only worth a visit because of the focus on regional beers. Very friendly service, affordable prices. A plus is that this shop is open on monday mornings. |
100 /100 Café De Engel (Bar) MARKT 14 Beste biercafe van oost-Nederland en verder |
18 /100 Café De Engel (Bar) MARKT 14 Was best beerpub of Netherlands in 2005 but no way in 2017. Had to shout to be served; small rather standard beers in bottle; lots of beers on tap but mainly bock or strong winter beers. Pint members get a 2nd beer of the month free (10% abv!), but barrel was finished, and they didn’t offer an alternative. Answer to complaint was very rude.
Worst beer pub of 2017 for me! |
84 /100 Café De Engel (Bar) MARKT 14 Wonderful place, often voted the best pub in the Netherlands. Grat ambiance, great service and a great selection. |
84 /100 Café De Engel (Bar) MARKT 14 An Antwerp monument. Here you can meet top politicians and real Antwerp dock workers. Nicely crowded and good atmosphere. Antwerp, as typical as it can get ! |
84 /100 Café De Engel (Bar) MARKT 14 Great place, nice owner with a good choice in beers, a lot of knowledge and excellent liver sausage to go with your bock! |
76 /100 Café De Engel (Bar) MARKT 14 Lovely café, very cosy and pretty large. Service was excellent when we where there, quick and nice. But it wasn’t very busy, though it was saturdayevening. Prices were allright.
When in the neighborhood, a nice place to drink a couple of beers here.. |
62 /100 Café De Engel (Bar) MARKT 14 Very nice, especially on a busy saturday afternoon on the terrace, watching the shoppers passing by. Sometimes Westvleteren available. Affordable prices. Few surprises, but still a reliable place to grab a beer or two. |
