56 /100 TVÆRGADE 7 Cozy brewpub in the center of town, only open friday and saturday. Nicely renovated old building with seating both inside and out back in the garden. 5 beers on tap, 4 piece sampler avaible, I got all five for the same prices when i said i wanted to try them all. Quality of the beers is sadly not that great. Service was nice and effiecent, fair prices. |
54 /100 TVÆRGADE 7 Nice cosey brewpub. Old electricity plant rebuild. More brewery tap-room than brewpub. Friendly staff. volunteers so some of them dont know much about the beers. 5 beers on tap. 4 glass sampler. Beers not that great but nice place. |
64 /100 TVÆRGADE 7 Visited several times. Funny place, where all the people behind this pub do it for free, and a lot of them are also retired people :-) Placed near the center of this village, very easy to get to, and also easy to park by car. Cosy atmosphere. The staff is friendly and serviceminded, but some of them know very little of the beers, but then the others take over. The only beers they have is their own beers, either on tap or in bottle. |
66 /100 TVÆRGADE 7 Visited July 2012: Really nice place, both inside and outside. Spacy place with room for a lot of people. TV which showed football, nice touch! Decent beers with the stout as the best. |
62 /100 TVÆRGADE 7 Nice place though rather empty. Serve their own four usual (pilsner, light ale, dakr ale, stout) plus a changing special (usual brewed by Esbjerg Mikrobryg) |
42 /100 TVÆRGADE 7 Visited December 2010. Friendly guy at the bar but knew absolutely nothing about the beers. Ordered a 5 sampler/taster and after pulling all the taps he found out he only had 2 beers. Pretty weird. One of the 2 was the stout which was pretty good. Clean and calm place. Friendly... |
56 /100 TVÆRGADE 7 Visited here on Friday 8th April 2011 with Jan and Charlotte. Interesting brew pub that had been converted from a small power station, there were still some old elements of the power station in evidence and incorporated into the interior of the place. This place has limited opening hours usually just Fri, Sat and is staffed entirely by a group of elderly volunteers. There was an ’Apres Ski’ part just about to start when we we were there which was quite an amusing site as hordes of people arrived with ski goggles, skis etc, looked quite amusing. Beer reasonable if not so exciting, but clean and tidy place that can accomodate quite a few people. |
