“We had a brief stop here on our drive north to Igoumenitsa Thursday 17th September 2020. It was our first day of rain (albeit later in the day) Medicane Ioana was due to hit, and the waves were already starting to lash the shore. We found this place quite easily, it's along the front nearer where the old town and castle area. We sat outside, I had a soft drink and Loz a Strange Brew Jasmine IPA. It was quiet today, partly because of the deteriorating weather and the owner was shutting down as we left. We were invited to check the fridge to choose what we wanted, the choice wasn't as good as expected, but hey I guess the season is almost over for this place and this resort of Parga. As I was driving I chose a beer to take away, an Imperial Stout by Dark Crops? Prices were fine, but difficult to judge objectively on such a day and at what is probably the tail end of the season.“

“With Pargas best selection of beers Ponte is definitely the place to visit if you enjoy trying out local microbreweries. They also sell a variety of food to accompany your choice of beer. The owner, Greg, will set you up with a perfect brew for the meal. 10/10 would recommend!“

“Small quite place to enjoy your beers, out of the beaten path, left side of the pier. This is an edited review by the way but it might as well be a whole new one because many things have changed since I last visited. Much better beer selection is the more important one and the owner seems very into it and trying to get as many new greek beers as possible. Prices are really okay when you come from abroad or from a major greek city, maybe steep if you're local but that's not the crowd they're after probably. They serve breakfast till 16:00, snacks, salads, etc so you can definitely combine your beer with something tasty. Service is a bit better than last time too. At the end of the day, a great place to enjoy a greek beer especially if you visit in the lazy hours of the midday-afternoon. I'll be a regular for the rest of my holidays.“

“This is not a beer bar in a conventional way, but as Parga is a small tourist village where macro lagers like Mythos, Alfa and Fix seems to dominate totally it’s nice to know that there actually are two spots here that have some alternatives (summer 2016). Ponte Cafe Bistro has a slightly better selection than The Old Garden. My impression was that the staff at The Old Garden had a little bit more interest in what they served, but that might as well just be me that had better luck with the random bartender that day. Anyway The Old Garden focuses is Corfu Beer with the eight most common beers from that brewery in the fridge inclusive the lager and the bitter on tap as well. In addition to this they had international macro lagers Heineken, Stella and Corona. The service was impeccable with a nice gest from both places as they put some snack on your table whatever was ordered from the bar. I only ordered food from The Old Garden, that was just OK without being outstanding in any way. Ponte Café seems to have more in the direction of food, but I just did not append to order anything there. The beer selection from Ponte Café also included some of the Cordu beers, but also three beers from Septem and another Greek micro where I have forgot the name. The International alibi was Hoegarden, Leffe and something else I also have forgotten. Both places are a must if happened to be in Parga, and don’t forget that Greek craft beer tastes better when served locally than something exported and stored for ages by a foreign importer.“
