Doskonale miejsce, piwa znakomite, jedzenie i obsluga rowniez. Bede tu wracal za kazdym razem po wypadach w Tatry i najblizsza okolice. Polecam z czystym sumieniem |
68 /100 U Krakena (Bar) NAMESTIE SVATEHO EGIDIA 16/37 Prijemny podnik no len s 1 remeselnym pivkom na pipe. |
70 /100 Dobre Časy (Bar) LEVOČSKÁ 2 Great selection at this gaff... |
68 /100 Hotel Cafe Razy (Poprad) (Restaurant) NÁMESTIE SVÄTÉHO EGÍDIA 38 Okay, it's Molson Coors' only, but if you are with toddler or two (or under 10yrs) the amazing kid corner is your way out and a chance to enjoy draft Leffe at least. |
40 /100 BILLA (Poprad) (Grocery Store) JIŘÍHO WOLKERA 15 Normal range of SK and CZ beers. Hard to find P a monday morning. |
78 /100 NÁMESTIE SVÄTÉHO EGÍDIA 60 Nice scents from kitchen, eight taps with their own brews. English was spoken. Tasting set could be improvised. 2€ for a half litre. |
64 /100 Dobre Časy (Bar) LEVOČSKÁ 2 The city pub/restaurant with 16 taps. Where the old popradians go, and their grandchildren. It all looked as a family gathering. Authentic. |
90 /100 NÁM. SV. EGÍDIA 10 Here you can buy pet bottles of their crafted good beers. The service is alright and english is spoken.
Average roomy place with at least a dozen tables, some upholstered chairs. 5 taps. Rotation. Egidius invents something new every year. Daj Boh Štastia! |
62 /100 Hotel Cafe Razy (Poprad) (Restaurant) NÁMESTIE SVÄTÉHO EGÍDIA 38 Twenty tables, on the ground floor. I didn't climb upstairs. Ten taps, most of them Staropramen products. But I found an Ostravar that was new to me. Fine scents from the kitchen. |
42 /100 Hodovňa (Bar) 1. MÁJA 215/5 Urpiner on taps. I found a special extra hoppy one. 12 tables, high chairs. Labyrinth toilet. Very calm on a sunday. Naturally. |
62 /100 NÁMESTIE SVÄTÉHO EGÍDIA 60 While the staff were friendly and spoke English they were very slow at times. Had dinner in here and four quite good beers. But often my glass was empty for 10 mins or so! |
46 /100 NÁM. SV. EGÍDIA 10 Semi rude staff who seemed to think they were doing me a favour taking my money for average (at best!) beers. They were so unwelcoming no wonder it was only 3 customers whereas Dobre Casy and Tatras had loads more customers. The brewer is quite adventurous in different styles but lacks quality. |
58 /100 Dobre Časy (Bar) LEVOČSKÁ 2 Visited on a Sunday evening. 4 lines out, the 5 Slovak beers all from God Times plus about 8 Czech beers on. Mainly youngsters and loud muzak so didnt linger as long as I hoped. |
70 /100 Dobre Časy (Bar) LEVOČSKÁ 2 Located on the edge of Saint Egidius place. Ambiance is more or less OK, athmosphere bit cold. Staff? It depends, boys are significantly knowledgeable, talkative, helpful and quick. Girl wasn't very quick, attentive at all. But overall OK. Selection of beers is wide including 2 fridges. On tap they have God Times beers and from small breweries, mainly Slovak. If you are in Poprad this is must. |
74 /100 NÁMESTIE SVÄTÉHO EGÍDIA 60 Nice ambiance. quick and polite staff. Only house beers on tap. They have tasters, so good place for tickers. |
84 /100 Hotel Cafe Razy (Poprad) (Restaurant) NÁMESTIE SVÄTÉHO EGÍDIA 38 Very pleasant. On the edge of the town centre in a pedestrianised area. Tables outside or stylish rooms inside. Helpful staff. A mini microbrewery, bar, restaurant, hotel, “wellness” centre (whatever that is), something for everybody. |
72 /100 NÁMESTIE SVÄTÉHO EGÍDIA 60 Cracking place in town ....its a little smokey in there for me but the beers are good.. |
74 /100 Dobre Časy (Bar) LEVOČSKÁ 2 Located at the edge of Poprad's old town, conveniently adjacent to the main parking lot (you can park for free on weekends). Chaotic ambiance but has its charm. Cozy upper level/attic, slightly claustrophobic side room, spacious main room with lots of tables, some beer paraphernalia, nice lighting. Good (table) service, good hermelin, and most importantly 15 taps. Since this is more or less the tap room of God Times, a brand brewed in nearby Svit at the (former?) Buntavar brewery, 5-6 taps seem to be reserved for God Times beers. On other taps there were a couple of low to mid tier Belgian beers and a bigger amount of Czech microbrews (Chomout et al.). I was slightly disappointed that the only Slovak craft available was a separate fridge full of Kaltenecker beers. In two other fridges you can find nice stuff from Matuska, Clock or Mikkeller for a very good price though and those God Times beers are really decent. Since it is most likely the only craft beer bar within a 50km radius, it seems natural to pay it a visit when on a trip to the High Tatras or the near surrounding. The atmosphere is nice, the beers are good and the location is perfect. |
80 /100 NÁMESTIE SVÄTÉHO EGÍDIA 60 Visited in December 2016. Centrally located and a place not to be missed when in Poprad or the surrounding area. The interior is a maze of different, not too spacious rooms, joining old school architecture with fairly modern decor, though at times with a slight retro flair (e.g. stained glass). The service was very good and so was the food. Lots of different house beers available. Some of them decent, some very good or even excellent, a minority flawed beyond redemption. There are some gems to be drunk here, especially bearing in mind the common level of Slovakian brewpub fare. Actually, their beers make it one of the best brewpubs I've visited so far. |
100 /100 Dobre Časy (Bar) LEVOČSKÁ 2 15 craft beers every day - the best burger in city - perfect servis |
68 /100 Dobre Časy (Bar) LEVOČSKÁ 2 Another recent addition to the Slovak High Tatras scene. A branch of the Kosice based pub whose name is a nice pun on the famous Prague pub. 11 Czekh and 4 Slovak beers on tap with the likes of Clock, Trebic, Chomout and Kaltenecker, with Matuska on the waiting list with a rather forbidding price of 3.50E for 0.3.
Service is good, Friday evening Is fully booked . Good to see a place like this in the terrible Heineken (meaning Zlaty Bazant that has taken over almost all mountain hostels) and Steiger overridden area. First rays of hope along with Minipivovar Tatras and , of course, my favourite Buntavar in Svit. |
72 /100 NÁMESTIE SVÄTÉHO EGÍDIA 60 A new place in the hitherto beer desert town (except for the mediocre Egidius Brewery). Excellent food and service. Among the beers APA and Horkac are quite decent, Odleziak is OK although IPA and Leziak rather disastrous. A good place if you do not feel like travelling to Buntavar in the nearby Svit. It is good to see some action in the Slovak High Tatras at last. (see also Dobre Casy in Poprad). |
60 /100 BILLA (Poprad) (Grocery Store) JIŘÍHO WOLKERA 15 Good selection of Slovakian and Czech beer. Some bottles from other countries also available. |
56 /100 NÁM. SV. EGÍDIA 10 Not really appealing interior but a very appealing exterior, as the brewpub is located in the pedestrian district of Poprad’s old town and boasts a beer garden as long as the weather complies. Nice service, good prices, the beers were not worth it though, apart from the dunkel. Still may be the place to go when in Poprad, as there don’t seem to be other points of interest connected with beer. |
10 /100 NÁM. SV. EGÍDIA 10 Awful, rude staff who after I told them my pint was off, called me a liar! When i got the bill despite refusing to drink the cleaning fluid i was still charged, Never again, go across the road to Crazy Cafe. So much better!!! |
50 /100 NÁM. SV. EGÍDIA 10 5 brews. All ok, but definite stand-out is the honey-beer - really great natural taste. |
60 /100 NÁM. SV. EGÍDIA 10 Brewpub is located in center of Poprad. Ambiance is not very nice, there are 3 rooms, one looks like coffee house, second like pub and third is mixed style. beer is good and in good shape, staff is polite, but not very knowledgeable. They don’t serve any food. If you are in town or High Tatras, step in and have your ticks. |
