| 68 /100 Black Tap Bar (Bar) BEECH HOUSE, CHURCH GREEN E “The outside of the pub proclaims the Black Tap Brew Pub, although the new incarnation of the bar doesn't brew. However you'll be treated to four cask ales, mostly basic British styles from respected outfits such as Ossett, Church End and Backyard. The bar itself is smallish, with a real fire (in March!) And bare wooden floors. 70s music in the background, so that's cool, although we weren't treated to any Led Zep with the drumming genius if Redditch's famous son John Bonham. Not the greatest selection but well-kept, and I like this place's vibe.“ |

Neat, tidy and worth finding if you are around there. It was a finalist in the CAMRA West Midlands Club of the Year 2014 (I know because I was one of the judges). Back again in 2015: still a decent club with an ever changing selection of four Cask Ales.“ |

Inside it is well laid out with a central bar as you walk in and the larger hall area beyond. The theme is the local motorbike industry and there’s a complete mounted one on the back wall, the furnishing is comfortable and appealing. Two rows of ale pumps give a good selection.“ |
