68 /100 BEECH HOUSE, CHURCH GREEN E
“The outside of the pub proclaims the Black Tap Brew Pub, although the new incarnation of the bar doesn't brew. However you'll be treated to four cask ales, mostly basic British styles from respected outfits such as Ossett, Church End and Backyard. The bar itself is smallish, with a real fire (in March!) And bare wooden floors. 70s music in the background, so that's cool, although we weren't treated to any Led Zep with the drumming genius if Redditch's famous son John Bonham. Not the greatest selection but well-kept, and I like this place's vibe.“

64 /100 THE OLD CINEMA, UNICORN HILL
“Wetherspoons fayre in a converted cinema in the town centre. The place is big! The cask offering is sometimes rather uninspiring but there is not a huge amount of choice in the town. Prefer this JDW to the other 'Spoons pub in Redditch“

“Nice club hidden behind houses in a residential area of Redditch. Friendly staff and customers: four Real Ales, two ever changing. Neat, tidy and worth finding if you are around there. It was a finalist in the CAMRA West Midlands Club of the Year 2014 (I know because I was one of the judges). Back again in 2015: still a decent club with an ever changing selection of four Cask Ales.“

“Private members club for the whole family where new members are welcome as are card carrying CAMRA members at all times.Well laid out and spacious bar and seperate function room as well as an upstairs snooker room with one table.Pleasant outside decking/patio area.3 taps/hand pulls, soon to be four feature local ales as well as rarer beers from further afield with good support to micro breweries.Real ciders also available on gravity.Drinking and banter feature well in this friendly club.“

72 /100 THE OLD CINEMA, UNICORN HILL
“Wetherspoon in a converted cinema with a small patio area out front. Inside it is well laid out with a central bar as you walk in and the larger hall area beyond. The theme is the local motorbike industry and there’s a complete mounted one on the back wall, the furnishing is comfortable and appealing. Two rows of ale pumps give a good selection.“
