The reason to actually go to the brewery is that they have an on-site restaurant and also a bar. Dried fish is available adjacent to the bar. Unfiltered Zhigulevskoe is available here only. Locals bring bottles and get them filled up in a tap room for only 14 rubles per litre. That’s about the cheapest beer in Russia. If you don’t have a bottle, the ladies at the dried fish stand will sell you an 1.5L bottle for 5 rubles. Still dirt cheap all told.“ |
