70 /100 HAVNEVEJ 8D Basically the brewery at the harbour in Tejn. Supplemented with a few benches outside and a counter. Rather primitive and to honest a little bit run down looking. However, not without charm. Selection was two draught beers and a number of bottles - including a good, fresh range of their own beers and contract brewed beers as Ghost Brewing. Nice service from the brewers wife. Well recommended for the rustic charm and the view over the harbour. |
70 /100 HAVNEVEJ 8D Wooden tables and benches outside the brewery. Inside you will see a lot of metal tanks as well as a lot of stuff lying on the floor. Looked a bit confusing. Our group quickly got some beer from one of the tanks, Christian Skovdahl Andersen informed us about the brewery and allowed us to another tap for self service and showed us the back room with all the barrelled beer. Unfortunately the Penyllan beer still was not drinkable in spite of 2 years storage. Cages on the floor. Claimed to be for pets but actually they were having problems with rats. |
86 /100 HAVNEVEJ 8D This is the brewery for Beer Here, a long-established Danish craft brewery, and Penyllan, a new barrel-aging project. Fairly small setup, surprising given their high profile. Beautiful setting in the harbour. When they’re open, you can buy a couple tap beers or numerous (semi-rare) Beer Here bottles from the small on-site shop. A good opportunity to see a small brewery up close, a rarity in Northern Europe. |
72 /100 HAVNEVEJ 8D Small Beer Here taproom with view of the brewery and the industrial harbour. Just around the corner of the Harbour-office. Benches outside. 2 taps and 10 bottles. Very nice fresh beers. Frindly service. Usualy open during day time when brewing., but phone ahead to be sure. |
